“What a great partner we found!”

What do you like best?

I enjoy everything about this app, its intuitive and very useful. The reporting allows us to track ROI, attendee participation, popular workshops and manage the budget. When using this software with Crowd Compass it makes the entire integration easy. We've also just integrated Sales Force with the software which allows us merge much needed data about our members.

What do you dislike?

The good thing about this company is that they are always improving, so the things that I wished were improved have been. They is always room to make it more intuitive but for now it works.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try it and see for yourself, if you missing something challenge the company to help you meet your need.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Tracking registrations are easily tracked among our members, the build in reports and graphs really assit me in presenting data to the stakeholders.

What do you like best?

We love the customer service that CVENT provides us. It made it extremely easy to utilize their product. The product itself has made our planning process much easier and efficient!

What do you dislike?

There are so many intricacies that sometimes it can become overwhelming. That said, there is always a team there to help.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to figure out how to plan a large conference as efficient as possible. CVENT's platform equipped us with the tools we needed to automate many processes, saving time and money.

“Efficient and useful!”

What do you like best?

The ability to look for so many properties, receive responses, etc. It has made my job much more efficient. It can be hard to keep track of who you reach out to if you don't have a product like Cvent, and it also allows me to send messages and updates to everyone at the click of a button.

What do you dislike?

It is a little clunky when doing searches, I can't save hotels in a "favorites" area so that I can come back to them later, without adding them to a RFP.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The best way to learn Cvent is to play around in it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is reducing the need for lots of emails back and forth, it allows our entire team to access RFPs if someone is out of the office or leaves the company.

“Cvent allows me to find prospective venues all in one place”

What do you like best?

The quantity of information avaliable to me in one location. Not only am I able to upload my event needs for prospective venues but I can also view their properties and find out more information about the city I am looking in. The filtering tools are great to narrow down results to make sure I can effectely seek out venues that will work for my clients.

What do you dislike?

I think cvent needs to be updated on a more frequent basis with hotel information, renovations and emerging properties. Another hot button for me would be that in the RFP section of the program, you cannot select a range of dates or a time of year (a couple months) in which your group would be interested in hosting the event. Because you are forced to select dates, often times sales people will skim over it quickly and reject it without looking into the notes field to see that you are actually more flexible than the system will allow. This is something that needs to be fixed immediately.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am finding out sizes of properties quickly and ruling out potential venues fast. This streamlines my job when searching for my client or board members. This also connects me easily with CVBs in one location so that I do not have to save a repository somewhere with tons of contact information.

“Easily Manage The Event Process With Cvent”

What do you like best?

Cvent is a a great tool to help maximize the event experience for the attendees while at the same time simplifying the day to day event management process.

What do you dislike?

There is much of anything I dislike. The customer service and support is world class and the product is second to none.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company was manually running our events using outlook and excel. This took too much time and there was too much room for error. Cvent collects the data and stores it in one place for us to access. The burden of the registration process is greatly reduced.

“Excellent customization and the highest level of professionalism.”

What do you like best?

The customer service is always excellent. The ease of use of the product overall allows for the user to both learn new skills quickly and test out new options for future events.

What do you dislike?

Some of the features that I rely on are not carried over throughout the entire product (eg: some of the search/filter selections). However, I bring this up to the customer support team and I am hoping that this will be updated!

More specifically to how we run our event -- we have people register for the event and then many months later, register for sessions. To get to the session registration section, it takes a somewhat circuitous route -- however, overall it's not a a *huge* problem, more just an aesthetics and efficiency question that I look to continue working on with my customer support team.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to become better informed about our participants - what are they interested in? what brings them to us? how do they interact and use our information?

Using CVENT I can get a clear overall picture of our event, compare data between events, and easily delve deeper into who our people are and learn more about where we excel.

Templates are very helpful and makes the process more efficient for people to register for events. If CVENT and Salesforce would integrate better, it would be perfect.

“Cvent - Your Go To For All Things Registration”

What do you like best?

I love the versatility of Cvent...from the design and layout to the ability to create discount codes and special rates for specific attendees. It streamlines the registration process by asking all the questions that we, as an organization need answered.

What do you dislike?

There are so many tools in Cvent's "tool belt" that often I feel like I'm not using the system to the best of it's ability. With that people said, I need to be proactive in reaching out to our Cvent representative to schedule an in-person training.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving many issues that used to be surprises on site, like dietary allergies, restrictions, as well as housing requests for shoulder dates. That has saved a lot of time!

A benefit has been the attendee's onus of their own registration; they can modify and update their registration on their own.

“So much data! ”

What do you like best?

I love the data export that you can get from using Cvent! Taking the time on the front end to stack the questions with the kind of data you're hoping to report on gives AMAZING results.

What do you dislike?

Cvent is extremely time consuming on the front end, even when comfortable with the event entering, it's clunky to create but well worth it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Take the time to take the tutorials and familiarize yourself with everything that Cvent offers. There are so many reports that you can produce, it's important for you to know what to enter on the front end to get the results you want on the back end.

We are finally using Cvent for ALL of our event software needs. Having all of our events stored in one place and all collecting the same data is incredible!

What do you like best?

Cvent has great functionality. It registers and checks in event attendees, it is tech friendly with QR codes to register people. It manages the financial transactions, helps with seating charts, has integrations with several platforms, and is very effective for really large events. We just started using OnArrival, which has really transformed our attendee and check in registration process.

What do you dislike?

I wish some of the functions were able to be changed while on that page, vs having to got the admin page and make necessary changes.

Time, attendee tracking, travel integrations, no show/cancellation tracking, ease of use for attendees to book hotels through CVENT integration with passkey.
