"Efficient Event Management with Minor Scheduling Hiccup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I like that Cvent Event Marketing & Management keeps all of our data in one place, so we don't have to jump from one platform to another. It's very efficient and helps with our communications. We really like that we can create our conference websites using the Cvent platform and collect payments through the platform. Cvent truly meets all of our needs in planning and organizing our conferences, so we don't have to rely on other products to achieve our goals. The registration process is very seamless, and we can collect the registration fees through Cvent. I also find Cvent's customer service to be outstanding, there's always a staff member ready to assist us. Moreover, I like the self-learning modules that they offer. What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

The one issue we have with Cvent Event Marketing & Management is that when we're creating our schedule and bundling several presentations into one session, it can't do that. We have to use a workaround to make it appear logically to our attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Cvent Event Management That Scales with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I like how almost all of your event needs are located in Cvent. Badge scanning, badge creation, agenda/session management, location sourcing attendee management and event app. Can all be created inside of the event. We do about 150 events annually and it is super easy to create events from templates or copy events year over year. It integrate easy into our reporting software and salesforce. Onboarding new employees is easy and when any questions arise customer support is quick to help resolve any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I personally dislike the cost and how you have to continue to add on services/features which are an additional cost. However, the service you get with the cost is PRICELESS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Event Ecosystem that Continues to Grow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

With all of the features available that continue to be enhanced and aligned with each other, the platform is becoming increasingly viable as a single ecosystem that more easily supports an SMMP. Our event planning team is in and out of Cvent on a daily basis, and it's hard to imagine how we would manage large conference registrations without it. Our stakeholders and attendees have particularly been impressed by the ease and positive experience of onsite check-in using OnArrival. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

Cost is still a major barrier to entry for many budget-strapped organizations. At times, the promotions and pitches for additional modules can feel heavy-handed and like being "nickeled and dimed." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Event Management That Saves Time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

What I like most about Cvent is having everything in one place — registration, event website, communications, on-site check-in, and reporting — so I’m not stitching together five different tools to run an event. The AI features and reporting have genuinely saved me time, though I’ll admit it took a while to get comfortable with everything the platform can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

Cost is my biggest gripe — between add-ons, transaction fees, and overage charges, it adds up fast, especially for the volume of events we actually run. The platform is also just a lot: powerful, but sometimes overwhelming for new users or anyone building an event without dedicated time to learn it, and a few workflows (like collaborating on the same event build with teammates) feel clunkier than they should. "Comprehensive Solution with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I'm particularly excited for some of the new features coming out that will make website building easier and prettier as well as registration faster for group registration. I like how much easier uploading speakers is, as I know how hard it could be in past software. The theme building for the website builder will save me hours of time and ensure a cohesive and consistent look for my clients' conferences. Group registration has always been a pain, but this will allow registrants to do the registration without multiple emails and our staff spending hours to input them. Although setup comes with a lot to learn, especially with the new AI, I have a great team of CVENTers with me, which is beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

The website builder, while drag-and-drop, can feel clunky, and it's tough to achieve the polished look of the example templates. There's a limitation on video and embed sizes, making it impractical for larger video content, and I'm not sure if the builder ensures ADA/WCAG compliance, which is a concern. Additionally, there's a lot to learn with the new AI features, and while seemingly easy at first, there are many nuances in the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Tool for Event Planning"
5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I use Cvent Event Marketing & Management for registration and website marketing for my events. It provides a one-stop shop for planners, allowing me to send event reminders, registration updates, and see RSVPs all in one place. I love that I can add my own logos and use my own fonts so it feels authentic. I also love the event diagramming option with Social Tables, which helps to plan the layout of my event and source venues. The initial setup was easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I'm looking to make my websites a little more complex, so options such as photo transparency or a comparison tool would be great. I just want more customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable with Effective Registration Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I love the level of customization with Cvent Event Marketing & Management. Creating the websites can be fun, and it's great that we can fully customize everything. It helps us keep branding consistent. As a newer user, I can say learning it has been fairly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I'd love to see more advanced logic for registration questions, and our attendees would like it if the platform could save their card information for future registrations. When adding logic-based questions, I would like there to be more options for triggering those questions to show. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

Cvent is always introducing new features or enhancing features or tools and sometimes it can be hard to stay on top of updates and news. There also can be a learning curve for new users in how to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Registration with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I like how Cvent Event Marketing & Management streamlines the registration process, making it easier to manage events. Continuous support and community from Cvent stand out as exceptional, and I find the registration and event setup tools very useful. The initial setup was easy, which made getting started with the software hassle-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

I find the process of converting speakers to attendees a bit cumbersome. Once a speaker is added, it would be nice to easily go to their speaker profile and register them for the event or cross-check that participants are registered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Hybrid Engagement, but Backend Customization Feels Limited"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

Cvent Attendee Hub strikes a strong balance between ease of use and robust engagement capabilities. The platform feels intuitive for attendees, which reduces friction and limits the need for support, while still providing interactive tools such as live polling, Q&A, chat, and agenda personalization. It performs especially well in hybrid event settings by delivering a cohesive experience for both virtual and in-person audiences. In addition, the ability to send real-time updates and monitor engagement metrics offers useful insights that can help refine and improve future events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?

The backend flexibility could be stronger. While the attendee experience is smooth, customization—especially around branding, layouts, and more advanced workflows—can feel somewhat limited. Setting up more complex or highly tailored events can also be time-consuming and may require support or workarounds, which can slow down execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
