Social tables does a great job listening to their users. They have constantly shown that even with changes they appreciate feedback and react on feedback. I love the constant updates and love how when they change something we loved about the old version, they actually take the time and go back to fix what we lost. I dislike how often things are changed on the website. The event industry is always changing and evolving and it is good to see our diagramming software do the same. However, sometimes it changes too much and once we are finally comfortable with the updated software, then it is updated again. It is a plus and a minus all in one. The software has a lot of functionality and is pretty easy to use. Also, they are constantly updating their system and trying to add useful functionality. Social Tables has a lot of functionalities but might look a little clustered sometimes. The design of the software could definitely use some cleanup. Almost too many updates - I feel like every time I login to make an event diagram it's a different interface that I have to relearn when it worked well previously. The latest update has every old event listed as a legacy event and gives us trouble when trying to open old diagrams we're looking to duplicate and its hard to find past events with the new layout and interface. I love the ability to create and load custom floorplans into the database for quick and easy reference when making floorplans for potential clients. The ability to also save floorplans as templates make it super convenient if I'm repeating something simple like a GS in schoolroom set or a meal room in max capacity. I wish it was not so expensive to have new meeting room diagrams uploaded. I also there was a master floorplan we could edit on the venue/property level. For example, some of our rooms have columns and on social tables layouts, they're incorrectly placed and no matter how many tickets we file to correct this, it always reverts to the incorrect position. Social Tables is great that it allows us to access over the cloud and easily share updates. Our events team is geolocated, we work with a third party agency on our main event, as well as a contact with a hotel member that's usually located someplace else. The ability to easily share 3D renderings has been invaluable. Additionally we struggle with assigning 600 seats for a gala dinner in less than 24 hours (once we know everyone who has and hasn't made it to the event) so being able to diagram everything out, assign seats and pass through details through our cvent instance has been invaluable.
