"Social Tables and Social Distancing...Success Combo!"
4/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Diagramming?

I love being able to create an accurate layout. With the pandemic, we have had to reset our spaces numerous times to account for social distancing, new furniture, etc. With each change, it took time but was seamless. You can use accurate size tables/chairs helps to ensure you are meeting all codes. When you first open an account, it's beneficial to have precise custom layouts that each company can manipulate to see what fits. I always use my favorites for tables/Chairs. It helps to ensure you are using the correct sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Diagramming?

I feel sometimes the system is slow and the cache can mess things up. The customizations help a lot. But can take time. Recently many of my colleagues have not been able to renew as the cost is just too steep. I wish there were level packages that may help others utilize the software. "Easy to share among team members"
5/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Diagramming?

I love that the diagrams can easily be shared and manipulated by multiple team members. This makes preparing for our events a breeze. Additionally, the platform is intuitive and allows us to pay attention to spacing protocols, particularly in a post-pandemic world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Diagramming?

I haven't run into any issues with the platform. However, I think it would be great if it could be pre-programmed with dimensions and door placement of popular spaces, or prepared by the venues themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good program but updates and customer service lacking"
3/5
What do you like best about Cvent Event Diagramming?

It does a great job diagramming events for a venue like ours that needs to draw client/planner expectations out for client review and our Ops crew to set. It's clean, clear, and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cvent Event Diagramming?

Getting floor plans built is a burden. Since they won't import CAD files, they trace on top of PDFs which leaves lots of room for error. We also have needed to add/change space and newer ST reps can really rack up charges for these services. Since Cvent acquired them, they have also severely lacked in updates. The changes that have happened leave out key details that make certain functions harder and glitches tend to go unfixed. They also killed mobile diagramming on tablets/phones that the legacy version had which is very frustrating for venues that would like to diagram while on walkthroughs with clients. There are things that have always needed improvements too such as better shapes to denote some items that are hard to discern, wall heights in 3D being accurate, importing/creating your own shapes with a little more detail, and other general things that real CAD software tends to do better that I'd always hoped would see improvement but have largely not changed at all since they were a start-up.
