CutPlan.ai is a free, browser-based cut list optimizer for sheets, fabric rolls and shaped parts. For every calculation it tests 148 optimization strategies (guillotine, shelf and MaxRects placements with different sort orders) and keeps the layout with the fewest sheets and least waste. It handles saw kerf, grain direction and edge banding per edge, reuses offcuts already in stock, and gives numbered, step-by-step cut instructions. Shaped (non-rectangular) parts are nested by their true outline, and fabric and vinyl rolls are planned across the usable width with seam allowance and plies. Works with plywood, MDF, melamine, OSB, acrylic, glass, aluminium, sheet metal, fabric and vinyl. Export PDF cut sheets and labels, CSV, and DXF for CNC (Pro). Runs in any browser, including phones, in 21 languages with full RTL support. No install, and no account needed to calculate.
