## About Cutover
Cutover is the AI-powered platform for enterprise IT operations execution. Cutover’s dynamic runbooks simplify complex work, connect siloed teams, and dramatically increase visibility. Transform your IT disaster recovery, major incident management, and cloud migration to reduce risk and boost efficiency by connecting people, technology, and systems. Standardize and automate global communications to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time and stakeholders are always informed. Real-time dashboards provide an immediate view of status. The immutable, auto-generated audit trail simplifies event post-mortems, regulatory reporting, and compliance. Cutover integrates seamlessly with core tools, including ITSM (e.g. ServiceNow), BCM (e.g. Archer IRM), IaC (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins), monitoring & DevOps (e.g Amazon Cloud, Azure), and communication tools (e.g. Slack, Microsoft Teams). Cutover AI reduces manual work and transforms automated runbooks with speed and efficiency. Cutover’s AI can create runbooks from various data sources in seconds, suggest runbook improvements for greater efficiency, and generate runbook descriptions. Cutover runbooks support AI agents to autonomously carry out actions while maintaining oversight and control. Cutover is trusted by world-leading institutions, including the three largest US banks and three of the world’s five largest investment banks. Cutover Respond reduces mean time to resolution (MTTR) in major incident management with rapid mobilization, seamless visibility, automation, AI agents, and post-incident learning. How Cutover Respond compares to competitors ServiceNow Service Operations Workspace Major Incident Management module: While ServiceNow is the system of record, Cutover is the system of action. We enhance your ServiceNow investment with deep integration and orchestration of real-time incident response, bringing structure to the chaos of major incidents and driving down your MTTR. incident.io: Cutover Respond is built for regulated, large-scale application environments and contains highly customizable templates, runbooks, and workflows. The Cutover platform provides deep compliance, audit, and process orchestration. Cutover Recover for IT DR helps organizations recover their applications faster and meet recovery time objectives (RTOs) with more confidence and ensure they can achieve regulatory compliance. How Cutover Recover compares to competitors Fusion RM: Cutover is best for enterprise IT teams managing DR plans, playbooks, failover and recovery, while Fusion RM focuses on business continuity and operational risk. While Fusion provides planning and tracking, Cutover has active task management and collaboration, with a greater focus on recovery execution in a live outage. ServiceNow BCM: While ServiceNow has a focus on tracking and documenting DR plans, Cutover is built to execute DR plans under pressure via an orchestrated, live collaboration environment which automates repetitive and complex tasks. Cutover Migrate helps enterprises orchestrate large-scale and complex cloud migrations. As AWS Technology Partner, Cutover works closely with Amazon Web Services, and has achieved the AWS Migration and Modernization Competency. The Cutover Migrate solution is tightly integrated with multiple AWS services including AWS Application Migration Service, and AWS Database Migration Service. Cutover Migrate is also part of the AWS ProServe Rapid Migration offering, helping enterprises automate large-scale migrations. www.cutover.com

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Cutover?**

Cutover is an exceptionally collaborative platform that enables teams to work together seamlessly while building comprehensive, organized, and easy-to-follow runbooks. Its intuitive structure improves coordination, visibility, and accountability across all stakeholders, making complex operational and disaster recovery activities significantly easier to manage.

Over the years, Cutover has consistently demonstrated its value as a leading solution for disaster recovery planning and execution. The platform provides a centralized, real-time workspace that helps teams stay aligned and execute critical recovery activities with confidence. Compared to other disaster recovery runbook platforms, Cutover stands out through its collaboration capabilities, workflow management, and operational transparency.

For organizations seeking a reliable and efficient platform to support disaster recovery testing, recovery events, and large-scale operational changes, Cutover has proven to be a superior solution that drives consistency, reduces risk, and enhances overall execution quality.

**What do you dislike about Cutover?**

There is not much I dislike of cutover over the years I can honestly say that it has proven to be a superior product.

**What problems is Cutover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cutover has transformed the way our organization builds and manages comprehensive runbooks. The platform streamlines the entire process, from assigning the appropriate resources and responsibilities to aligning tasks within the overall execution timeline. This structured approach ensures that all activities are properly coordinated and that teams clearly understand their roles throughout the process.

One of Cutover's greatest strengths is its ability to provide visibility into execution and outcomes. The platform allows us to review results, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement following each exercise or event. This continuous feedback loop has helped us enhance our procedures, increase efficiency, and strengthen our overall operational readiness.

By combining collaboration, organization, accountability, and post-execution insights, Cutover has become an invaluable tool for our disaster recovery and operational planning efforts. It has significantly improved our ability to execute complex activities with confidence while driving continuous process improvement across the organization.

 ### 2. Flexible, Intuitive, and Reliable—Great Automation and Integration Potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cutover?**

Flexibility and ability to support a wide variety of recovery procedures through both manual and automated execution steps. The user interface is intuitive, while still providing advanced functionality for experienced practitioners. Integration capabilities enable automation opportunities and connectivity with other enterprise systems. Additionally, the Connect application has proven to be stable and reliable, with timely software updates that regularly deliver quality-of-life improvements and enhanced functionality

**What do you dislike about Cutover?**

Self-service integration capabilities have not always been as turnkey as expected, current limitations around managing multiple self-hosted data source integrations, administrative capabilities such as user impersonation ("emulate user") would significantly improve troubleshooting, support, and user experience management for platform administrators, provide customers' dashboards or calculate organization-specific metrics; however, additional API endpoints, reporting datasets, bulk export capabilities, or data warehouse-friendly access patterns

**What problems is Cutover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Architect a resilient enterprise recovery and change management platform for Centene, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation platforms to enable scalable, repeatable, and standardized execution while improving operational recovery outcomes and organizational resilience

I found that Cutover worked hard to truly understand the challenges we were facing, helped us clarify what “excellent” looked like, and then partnered closely with our teams to meet those targets.

**What do you dislike about Cutover?**

Not applicable. I would work with them again.

**What problems is Cutover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cutover addressed the manual execution risk embedded in our resilience runbooks. **Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Cutover?**

I utlised Cutover at a previous company and when i then started a new role at a new company, working on the Migration Project Team, I was determined to get the application onboarded.
As expected it has proven invaluable since we acquired Cutover, using it to support many Dry Runs and Dress Rehearsals, refining each iteration as we progressed.

Certain limitations on the MI dashbaords has resulted in creating MI outside of the application which is unfortunate, With Phase 2 of the project on the horizon hopefully there will be scope to address this.

**What problems is Cutover solving and how is that benefiting you?**
