Cutline Studio is design and CAM software for small woodworking shops and makers who cut plywood and sheet goods on a CNC router. Describe a project in plain words, such as a cabinet, shelf unit or display fixture, and Cutline designs every part, sizes the slots, tabs, finger joints and dados to the plywood thickness you measured, adds dogbones for your bit and checks that the parts fit together in 3D. It then nests the parts on your sheet to cut material waste and writes G-code for Grbl and Mach3/Mach4 machines. You can also import DXF and SVG files and set up profile, pocket, engrave and drill toolpaths with holding tabs. Printable plans with cut lists make it easy to repeat a product. Runs on Windows 10 and 11. 7-day free trial; $15/month, $129/year, or $149 one-time with your own Claude API key.
