I really like not having to maintain a server anymore and that I can access Curve Dental from anywhere. It's also a relief not needing an IT department to constantly upgrade a server. Plus, I find it super convenient that whenever a patient calls, I can quickly access their chart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the invoice-based billing system awful compared to a ledger system. It's much harder to keep track of finances, making it easier for staff to alter records, which could lead to issues like embezzlement. It also makes it difficult for my front desk staff to adapt, and I feel like things are slipping through the cracks. The initial setup was very difficult. Getting images over still hasn't happened, documents didn't transfer well, and no perio charts came over. It's been a lot of work, and I even had to hire an extra person for the transfer. Thank you for your comments on how accessible Curve Dental is.
We understand that changing from a ledger system to a invoice system can be confusing. We have built into the system the option to lock the ledger on a specific date so that only those who have specific access can unlock that and edit any transactions in the past. This is controlled by a specific permission. We will shortly be releasing this feature as a dynamic date so that you do not have to manually update the date the ledger is locked.
I have contacted your account manager and your project manager to make sure to give you an update on your image conversion.
