"Easy to Learn, Clean Display, and Seamless Imaging Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

Curve is easy to learn and onboard new team members. It has a great display that is not overwhelming with info yet it has everything you need at a glance.

The digital imaging integration is great and allows for emailing and printing in quality. The ability to drag and drop scanned letters and referrals is quick and easy. There's no need for extra apps or too many steps.

The notifications of new items or changes is immediate on the software and you are not indunated with emails.

But it would be nice to be able to add another dentist without the extra charges added to monthly fees.

The new AI assist to find answers isn't quite as handy as the Curve Community where there are videos to assist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

DId not like to add extra fee to monthly charges just to add another dentist even if that dentist comes only once per month.

Also the AI isn't as good as the curve community videos Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super-Friendly UI and Seamless Onboarding with Powerful Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

The user interface of Curve is super friendly and makes it incredibly easy for staff to start using. The many features and integrations allows for seamless use of phones, AI imaging, and more. The onboarding process was also very seamless and retraining new staff has been a breeze Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

As an American company, there are several features not currently accessible in Canada. Specifically, the ability to send attachments with claims and the ability to bulk enter payments cause friction when dealing with insurance. This is worsened as the pricing of Curve is based on the availability of these features, so it feels like you are paying for a product you do not get access to. "Amazing software for the dental office"
5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

I use Curve Dental every day in my dental field, and it’s very user-friendly. Everything is easy to find and navigate. It’s the best dental software I have ever used. We can quickly find any information regarding patients, assess their charts quickly and efficiently, and use the AI tool to help with X-ray identification for calculus and decay, as well as periodontal concerns. I love how it helps me have a smooth appointment each day with every patient. It allows me to see all the columns in one page, which is wonderful, and the sidekick feature is great for quickly viewing patient profiles, insurance, upcoming appointments, and notes. Uploading digital scans from our iTero scanner to Curve Dental is really convenient, too. The setup was quite smooth, and working with a large dental office, I find its ability to manage such an environment an upgrade from our previous software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

At times it is down but that’s also a network issue and it usually resolves quickly! Maybe more user friendly to see on a mobile phone! When I need to check my schedule it’s sometimes difficult to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Kitti of Curve Dental

"User-Friendly Cloud Scheduling with Strong Support and Customization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

We have multiple offices, and coming from a server-based practice management software, it’s been much easier to manage our schedule in the cloud. Curve is very user-friendly, simple to learn, and accessible from anywhere. It integrates with multiple imaging softwares, and the customer support is strong—customer service is easy to reach anytime. They also offer regular updates and improvements to the software, and it’s customizable to fit individual practice needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

We don’t like the native, built-in imaging feature because the images don’t look very clear. The pricing structure can also be confusing, and the monthly fees feel high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Seth Foltz of Curve Dental

Michael, thank you for your comments and we are glad you are finding accessing and using Curve for multiple practices user friendly.

"Curve is the best cloud based software ever!"
5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

Not being tied to a server any longer and being able to work from anywhere with ease. Super easy to train new staff on the software. Curve also has exceptional customer service!

With the addition of Curve Gro we have been able to stop using 3rd party vendors for additional services and keep everything in one place with minimal cost! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

I haven’t experienced any downsides to using Curve in the 13 years we’ve been using it. What’s not to love? The only thing I wish it had is a time clock feature—adding that would make it feel complete for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Kitti of Curve Dental

Hi Lynette, thank you for being part of the Curve family! We are so glad to hear that Curve has helped you to keep everything in one place. We’re very grateful for your continued trust and so glad Curve has been a great fit for your practice for 13 years!

"User-Friendly and Efficient for Dental Practices"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

I find Curve Dental super easy to use with features like fast dental charting, convenient note-taking, and easy chart management for fillings and reading charts. The remote access online is really handy because I can check my schedule the night before or morning of, helping me prepare without needing to arrive early in case of cancellations. I also appreciate Curve Dental's user-friendly setup, allowing for easy creation of individual logins for all staff. Curve Gro makes it efficient to text with patients, and I can even include images. Switching to Curve Dental from Cleardent has been smooth, as it's very user-friendly and quick to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

I find it annoying that bitewing x-rays don't automatically flip in imaging and only do so on the template, which means I have to rotate each one by hand, and that's time-consuming. I also wish I could bulk drag codes into the scheduled treatment day visit instead of having to drag them one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Seth Foltz of Curve Dental

Thank you for your review. We are glad you are finding the different modules in Curve to be fast, convenient and easy.

When you are capturing the images, are you capturing them directly into the templated mount? If you use that image instead of the raw image that is pulled in, then it should be aready oriented in the correct view. Dragging multiple codes from one visit to another is a great suggestion. I will make sure this is entered.

"Easy to Use, Feature-Rich, and Fast Customer Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

It’s very easy to use and simple to teach to new employees. It also has a wide variety of things you can do, which makes the staff’s life easier during long, busy days. Customer support is easy to reach, and I can get an answer very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

The X-rays are limited when it comes to mounts and editing. When converting a lot of items, some things didn’t convert properly, and I wasn’t told about that from the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Kitti of Curve Dental

"Organized, Easy Charting with Convenient Schedule Access Anywhere"
4/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

I like how organized and how easy it is to navigate patient's charts, allowing us to be able to save templates saving us time when doing notes, perio charting and the ability to switch the inputting pattern based on individual preference. I think the best part is the fact that I'm able to access the schedule outside of the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

There are times when the software is slow or when there are occasional outages. This makes it extremely difficult to proceed with the work day when were unable to access patient's charts for treatment or unable to send claims to patient's insurance which causes us to resort to manual claims. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Seth Foltz of Curve Dental

Thank you for providing us with this review. Having access to your data outside of the office, great feature isnt it! Unfortunately some disruptions occur, when they do we work to get them back up as soon as possible. We then research the issue to try to make it so that issue does not happen again. Once again, Thank You for your response.

"Decent Tool with Room for Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about Curve Dental?

I like that the forms are easy to email and send to patients, which makes communication much more convenient. Recare also got a nice update. Also, Curve Gro for texts is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Curve Dental?

Marking people as seated is a hassle because the system asks unnecessary questions about the differences between appointment tags and production tags. Searching for available time is also difficult since the operatories list isn’t alphabetical and isn’t searchable; with 40 operatories, it becomes a nightmare to find what you need. Scheduling recare or hygiene takes forever, too, because you have to add each operatory one by one, which is unmanageable when there are 50+ options and there’s no way to save the search. Finally, Curve GRO texts don’t appear within Curve Dental, which makes it harder for doctors to view them and have them clearly connected to a patient profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Seth Foltz of Curve Dental

Thank you for providing your insight and difficulties you are having. It sounds like being able to save your search parameters is something you are looking for. If you would like you can contact me through the support line and I will then attach your name to the Suggestion that I will be putting through so that you can be notified of a resolution.
