Also, the dimensions and time intelligence of the tool allow for equity roll, balance sheet balancing, and cashflow statement checks to be flexibly designed so that you can ensure that the information is correct while looking at any window of time or any scenario. **What do you dislike about Cube?** No visualization module available at present outside of the landing page dashboard. Also, I do not believe their are any baked-in forecasting methods. **Recommendations to others considering Cube:** Consider what are your critical, high priority, and low priority needs in any budgeting or planning software and start there before choosing simply based on price or a Gartner Magic Quadrant report. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cube is going to launch a SQL-like language that will enable us to perform impactful data analytics. ### 3. Once Integrated, Cube is a very useful Resource. Cube makes it super easy to compare budgets vs. actual business performance and makes monthly reporting super easy! **What do you dislike about Cube?** The main downside I experienced while using cube was the difficulty in uploading and arranging our operating model to be coded and uploaded to Cube. This process took a little more effort and time than expected. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planning and monitoring company performance is much simpler with Cube than without! This has been extremely helpful for our reporting, AOP and BvA processes, and has made the team much more efficient during month-end and quarterly reporting. The ability to use the add-in across google sheets and excel is also super convenient **What do you dislike about Cube?** No specific downsides! With any software, it takes some time to implement, but once the system is running properly, it is easy to learn and teach new team members **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cube is great because it can be the one source of truth for all our data and metrics. When we switched from Quickbooks to Netsuite, we were able to have the Quickbooks data live in Cube, and the numbers can still be easily pulled when needed in the future. It has also been great in creating customized views and dimensions for certain metrics and numbers ### 5. LIke any tool, there are small features that they can improve, but the team is very responsive and has added many of our requested features to the roadmap for the product. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were doing all of our planning in spreadsheets, which was creating file size issues and version control issues. Cube allows us to leverage the spreadsheet functionality for modeling, but eliminates big data imports, and provides version control so that we have a single source of truth. ### 6. Cube has all the features I needed so far to bring in actuals from NetSuite and create a budget in Excel that I can upload to Cube easily as well as then do budget vs actuals reporting by Department, GL codes, etc., as needed. I am also able to separately have a headcount scenario for hires on staff and planned hires which is very helpful to have a full view of the budget and forecast. **What do you dislike about Cube?** So far I have not had any issues and have used Cube to set up the company budgeting process. **Recommendations to others considering Cube:** Really like it, excellent support, good price. Highly recommend. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are doing a lot of hiring and I am able to upload our headcount view on a daily basis if needed to see how we are doing in meeting the budget. I am also able to have a good budget vs actuals view to make sure we stay on budget or get ahead of any favorability / unfavorability vs budget. You no longer have to download CSV's from your Quickbooks as Cube brings in all the data you need with a click of a button. I also really love how you can publish data back to Cube and classify it under different scenarios. While all of our calculations live in Google Sheets, the data management had become too cumbersome. Cube allowed us to link different files easily and created an enterprise-level backend solution to our spreadsheet forecasts. With Cube as the backbone, we have been able to keep our forecast in tools that people understand and use while securing our data and managing the process efficienctly. **What do you dislike about Cube?** Since Cube is a startup, there are a few bugs and quirks that still need to be worked out in the tool. However, none of these bugs have prevented me from accomplishing my goals in using Cube. Our non-finance teams are keener to Google Sheets, so adoption of Cube would be much easier. **What do you dislike about Cube?** We haven't ran into anything too disappointing when it comes to Cube. We're thrilled with the support, flexibility, and pricing. One minor update that we would like to see in the future is preserving the format of templates that we save. We'd love to be able to pull data without having to go back to update the presentation of the data too much. **Recommendations to others considering Cube:** This is a great tool for all companies who are looking into using their first FP&A tool. The support team is fantastic and is readily available through Slack and will guide you throughout your whole setup process. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** So much time saved on pulling actuals for departmental reporting. We are currently working on next year's budget planning templates and already envision a much quicker way of rolling up the department's proposals for a consolidated budget. ### 28. Also like the idea of 'relative' Timeline dimension ... ex: year to date (which would be relative to the date chosen or today. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy way to pull ERP data and group by various dimensions. It is much faster than creating reports/analyses from native ERP reports. ### 29. All our reporting is automatically updated, substantially reducing our time to publish reports and enhancing our accuracy. The Cube team was terrific to work with during our implementation; they are responsive and have guided our use cases. **What do you dislike about Cube?** I don't have anything to dislike at the moment. The platform is continuing to improve. **What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our departmental reporting packages and metric calculations no longer need to be manually maintained, and we can issue our reports instantly upon closing. Our budgeting and forecast process is also now centrally maintained and updated by stakeholders. ### 32.
