CS2 Marketing has helped with a number of projects in the past - whether it be helping find/solve bugs to recommending better ways to set up processes. Since they work with several different clients they always are finding new and improved best practices that can be applied to most businesses. There hasn't been a project that I've found that they didn't have great recommendations for. What's more, is that they are not only strategical but also tactical. What do you like best?

What I like best is that they are easy to work with and are incredibly smart. They work in a way that they are teaching you and not just doing all of the work. What do you dislike?

There isn't much to dislike when it comes to CS2, the only thing that has ever come up is that there are times when they are unable to take on new clients because of bandwidth, which I respect since they want to make sure that they have enough time to deliver to their existing clients. CS2 helped us implement Marketo and lay all the foundational groundwork we needed to streamline our lead lifecycle and reporting process. They continue to support our marketing ops needs by helping us build actionable reports & dashboards in SFDC, integrating Marketo with new marketing tools (Clearbit, Drift, 6Sense, Slack, etc.), assisting with ABM operationalization, building out our lead scoring program, performing data hygiene work, and more. What do you like best?

Their can-do attitude and endless expertise across so many different marketing tools! Outside of Marketo and SFDC, CS2 has also been a great strategic partner on our implementation of other tools like Drift and 6Sense. They have a solution for everything, and we trust them to figure out the best way to implement those solutions.

They're also fantastic communicators and move impressively fast (but with accuracy)! It's crazy to think how much they've implemented for us in such a short amount of time, and we were able to launch our first Marketo campaign within a strict timeline.

One of my favorite things about them is that they don't take a "one size fits all" approach— they really take the time to understand your use case in the context of your business so they can deliver a tailored strategy that makes the most sense for where you are in the business. So many of our processes have been automated, and we're able to now gather & analyze crucial data on our leads (e.g. lead source, MQL conversion etc.). We had a very basic lead funnel, with a loose structure and definitions. CS2 helped engineer a new funnel, which aligned with business objectives and GTM strategies. They helped us meet our ultimate goal - to create dashboards which would serve as the source of truth for the entire organization.

CS2 helped configure and implement Marketo the right way (keeping our business context in mind) and created a tight integration between Salesforce and Marketo. What do you like best?

The team at CS2 are masters of their game. You need to spell your requirements once and they're off to the races. They not only understand your pain points and challenges but also come up with sound recommendations. When you have a solution, they study it from all angles to come up with an even more refined solution. They are able to distill complex requirements and communicate options in a concise manner.

The funnel lifecycle engineering has given us enormous confidence in our data, aligned the Marketing & Sales teams, and helped the GTM team have constructive and meaningful conversations around pipeline, deal ops, and revenue targets. It has allowed various members of the team pose questions, study gaps, and seek ways to partner on addressing jointly.

What do you like best?

I adore working with Crissy and her team! We have been working together for over a year now, and I cannot sing her praises highly enough. She has truly helped us integrate much of our tech stack to achieve business intelligence and scalability (Marketo, Drift, Outreach, and many SFDC workflows).

I've brought in the team at CS2 to run marketing ops and demand gen campaigns for every startup I've led marketing for - there is no one in the business that's better. Easiest decision you'll ever make. They are masters and I've used them for everything ops and demand gen related. Some things we've worked on:

- Ops related - setting up marketing automation (we've done Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua and Pardot), lead scoring, target account lists, all SaaS integrations , setup Salesforce, establish lead and opportunity tracking and management, performance dashboards, reporting

- Demand gen related - develop ABM strategy, create email marketing, advertising, & direct mail campaigns, execute parts of event marketing campaigns

- Sales dev related - sales development training playbooks, sales dev trainings, setting up cadences and writing voice and email scripts

Easy to work with, extremely organized and on top of all deliverables, strategic and creative! For me, knowing their team is extremely creative is important, because that helps drive great outcomes. If you don't enjoy working with the entire CS2 team, you don't enjoy life. CS2 are experts in Marketo, Salesforce, EverString, LeanData, Drift, Sendoso, and pretty much any other technology that matters to a modern marketer. They manage our team's day-to-day marketing operations, including support for SaaS integrations, SFDC/Marketo campaign builds, lead nurturing, lead routing, and a dozen other functions. The only thing to consider is that CS2 is not the cheapest on the market. There are plenty of folks that are cheaper that you can find on things like UpWork even. We hired CS2 to help implement, manage and execute Marketo for our very small marketing organization, who had big big hopes and goals. We had a new VP of Marketing who had worked with CS2 in the past and wanted to use them again. They were organized, patient and had the right level of experience to steer us in the right direction in a timely manner. CS2 kept our expectations in check, along with our wants v needs. What do you like best?

CS2 comes with a wealth of best practice knowledge, not just about the Marketo platform, but about our industry and practices. They will also research something if they don't know and find that we need to take a breath before trying to plow forward on a project and/or request. They are thorough - they keep a meaningful change tracker (this has proven to be invaluable) and provide plenty of communication about staff coverage, changes to their org that may effect us, thought leadership, etc. CS2 has great experience with other platforms in the marketing tech stack, and so also provided feedback as we began to evaluate other platforms for our growing needs.

Sometimes we are embarrassed as marketers about the state of our house. The more we were honest with CS2, the more they could provide support.
