What do you like best about CS2?

The best thing about CS2 is that they feel like a true partner, not just another vendor. Throughout our whole multi-month project, they were right there in the trenches with us.

Their team is super sharp, pays close attention to all the little details (personally this is HUGE), and their communication was fantastic. They were always active on our calls, asking great questions that honestly helped us figure out what we really needed. Their expertise made the whole project go very smoothly! Oh and their documentation was A+++ can't ask for better!

What do you dislike about CS2?

I would 100% recommend CS2 to any company that's about to tackle a complex GTM project. If you're looking for a team that does more than just check boxes — a team that really works with you to make the plan even better - then you should definitely hire them. What problems is CS2 solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were dealing with a few big headaches in our GTM operations. For starters, our reporting was less than ideal — it was all over the place, mostly manual (e.g. system data exports and then manual wrangling in a Google Sheet) and just didn't give our leadership the clear insights they needed on a regular basis. We also had some real inefficiencies in how we handled leads and tracked them through the whole funnel, which meant a lot of extra manual work for our marketing/sales operations team. To top it off, our data quality wasn't great, which muddled everything from lead routing to simply making good decisions.

CS2 was the perfect partner to help us solve all of this. They got the whole technical solution built and running smoothly. The biggest win for us is that we now have awesome, reliable reporting! CS2 helped our company transform the way we look at Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and implemented a foundation for Order of Operations processes, including data normalization and lead sourcing, that help us with attribution and maintain a cleaner database. Additionally, CS2 built a Unified Funnel Metrics dashboard for us in Salesforce with a variety of reports that show views for revenue planning, goal tracking, and campaign performance, which make reporting on the important data much easier and cleaner. CS2 helped us solve visibility into how our marketing was performing by putting in place the lifecycle object. Now we can easily see what the trigger campaign was for each opportunity and show direct pipeline attribution for every dollar we spend. We also have much better visibility on conversion rates from meeting set all the way to bookings.

This has helped me as a marketing leader be able to show the results from our marketing spend and make decisions on where to place our spend depending on the objective. I've used these numbers in board meetings, in QBRs, and with sales leaders to show them the value of marketing is doing. It's helped me gain trust and get more resources!
