I've been working with CS-cart for a long time and I'm using CS-cart Multi-vendor version for a year. In comparison with other E-commerce platforms, I can say CS-cart is so easy to use and work with! It is a user-friendly software with no complexity for users. Everything is defined well and straightforward but with powerful functionality.

MV version makes our business much easier because now we can manage our vendors through the same platform. The best part of the Multi-vendor is the Vendor admin panel which has the same appearance and functionality as the admin panel. It means there is no need to learn how to work with vendor admin panel for CS-cart admin users. They can teach vendors easily and comfortably how they should work on their panel. Vendors can manage their products, their orders, other things, and the best part is, admin user, can moderate all vendors actions in the vendor panel or if they want, they can let vendors do their updates freely with no moderation.

Besides, vendors have their own store pages in the website and this makes them more inspired to update their products better and faster cause they feel they have a mini website inside the main business market.

There is nothing major I dislike about CS-cart. The more I work with the software, the better I understand its business plan and it becomes easier to use. We have been using CS-Cart for more than 10 years without any major problems. With new platforms coming to market every year we are always eager try them out to see if we should move to a faster, better platform. The only thing that I struggle with sometimes is the fact that there is not as many third party companies developing add-ons for CS-Cart like there are for some of the other major cart packages. When Intersperse shutdown their self hosting shopping cart, we started searching for alternative options. We tried many different carts for a few months, installing, and configuring them. In the end we choose CS-Cart, due to ease of use, and wide range of developers. Every version since then makes this cart even better.

Tools for better stock management, and purchasing from suppliers. For example being to add your product cost from different suppliers. Also add a option to offer store credit, and have a better refund management. System . Add option to store card information for customers, I know PayPal, and Authorize.net offer options to do this.

It is very reasonably priced for what you get. We liked the fact that you install the software on your own server, as opposed to hosting your website on their server, and that you have full access to the code to make whatever tweaks you like.

Their support system is truly amazing. Forum questions are answered very quickly and they have a vast library of videos to help new users understand and use the functionality. I also love the fact that there is a large and growing community of users keen to help you with any issues you encounter and a community of developers has grown around the solution so that if you require any custom coding, you can get this done reasonably cheaply. I have been using CS Cart Multi Vendor over a year. I must admit I do not have a technical background. Even so, I found it very easy to navigate through the software and create a bankable e-commerce solution for my start up in Silicon Valley. I have received tons of compliments for easy of use/navigation, speed,reliability and bug free experience from my customers. CS-Cart is a very affordable ecommerce platform, which can be extended as one sees fit, depending on one's needs, over time. The features that come out of the box are more than enough at the beginning and are very easy for non-specialists to understand, use and customize. Importing and exporting products, categories, etc is very easy and has been revamped recently, making it ever easier. The selection of add-ons is very large.
