Crystal was recommeded to me by a colleague recently and I was sceptical but as soon as I tried it, I was amazed. The content is well designed and the tool works all the times I have tried it (5x now). The chrome plugin is a game changer. I almost think that this is a secret weapon that others have been using to get maximum impact from their interactions....and that is why I have not heard about it widely. I REALLY like having something to go on for both new connections and exisiting relationships. Any time I am sending an email not a text or LinkedIn message instead of a phone call I think about what will actually get a response and how can I write a truly caring message. I am absolutely amazed at how accurately Crystal predicts personalities! The level of precision in its analysis left me genuinely surprised. Even though I do not post regularly on LinkedIn the App was spot-on in predicting my own personality, energizers, drainers and ways to approach me.

While I am impressed with Crystal's accuracy and ease of use, there are a few areas where the app could improve. One downside is that the DISC personality analysis is not explained in much detail. A more in-depth breakdown of the methodology and what each personality type entails would be incredibly helpful.

Crystal gives you an sense about how it will be to communicate with a person. Actually I used Crystal before going to a job interview and hey; I got the job. I don´t like that they only offer one year subscription. They used to offer a monthly subscription so that's why I purchased it privately although it was expensive.
