CryspIQ® is an Enterprise Data Efficiency Platform that gives an organisation one governed enterprise data model instead of a definition per report. It is delivered as SaaS. Transactional decomposition — the patented method behind it — breaks source records into their most granular elements and stores them in a single Universal Context, so a business definition is established once, as data enters, and reused by every report, dashboard and AI workload after it. Data quality is scored on load, lineage back to source is automatic, and business users can ask questions in natural language without SQL or a modelling step. CryspIQ® is not an alternative to Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Synapse. It starts where none of them can: with your enterprise, expressed as one governed model that data is decomposed into as it arrives. The platforms then serve the model, instead of the model being reverse-engineered from the platforms. The method was developed from 2016, first published in 2018, and invented by Vaughan Nothnagel. It is granted as a patent in Australia, the United States, China, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
