"Fast, Reliable ASC 842 Outputs with Practical Disclosures"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I like Crunchafi's ability to produce practical ASC 842 outputs quickly and reliably: amortization schedules, journal entries, and full disclosure support that can actually be used for financial statement footnotes.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I dislike the operational friction around Crunchafi, not the lease-accounting output itself.

Specifically, erroneous billing for the use of demo and clunky onboarding / contract workflow (the client signer did not receive the expected DocuSign timely, and the team had no visibility into what the signer received. The onboarding process could be as simple as just getting and signing the DocuSign, without repeated involvement). Also, integration uncertainty - need a clear position on whether/ how it integrates with various ERPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Audit-Ready ASC 842 Outputs in an Intuitive, Efficient Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

What I like most about Crunchafi is that it takes a complex, highly technical accounting standard and makes it practical and efficient to manage on an ongoing basis. The user interface is intuitive, so it’s easy to enter lease data, review assumptions, and move between entities and leases without a steep learning curve.

The biggest value for me is the quality of the outputs. Crunchafi automatically generates amortization schedules, journal entries, and ASC 842 footnote disclosures that are audit-ready and easy to reconcile back to the general ledger. This has significantly reduced the time our team spends maintaining spreadsheets and manually preparing lease calculations. The system also provides a clear audit trail and revision history, which is especially helpful when working through renewals, modifications, early terminations, and other lease changes.

I also appreciate the ability to collaborate with clients directly through the platform. Rather than exchanging multiple spreadsheets and supporting documents, our team and the client can work from a centralized dashboard. This improves communication, reduces version-control issues, and makes the overall lease accounting process more efficient.

The newer AI-assisted data extraction capabilities are another meaningful enhancement. Being able to upload a lease and have key information extracted automatically speeds up lease setup and reduces manual data entry. For organizations with a large lease population, this can save a substantial amount of time.

From a support and onboarding standpoint, I’ve found the platform to be well designed for accounting professionals. The workflow aligns with how accountants think through lease accounting, and the guidance, training resources, and customer support make implementation straightforward.

Overall, Crunchafi has improved both efficiency and accuracy in our lease accounting engagements. It lets us spend less time on mechanical calculations and more time advising clients on accounting decisions, while providing confidence that the resulting schedules, journal entries, and disclosures comply with ASC 842 requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

While Crunchafi offers strong lease accounting functionality, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Over time, we’ve run into billing and account management issues that required extra follow-up to get resolved. Greater transparency and accuracy in billing would go a long way toward improving the overall customer experience.

I’d also like to see more proactive lease management capabilities, especially automated notifications for upcoming renewals and other critical lease dates. Getting reminders well before renewal windows open would help us review active leases with clients, assess renewal options, and make informed business decisions before contractual deadlines arrive. That kind of functionality would add meaningful value beyond accounting compliance and make the platform feel like a more complete lease management solution.

Overall, the core lease accounting features are solid, but improvements to billing processes and renewal notifications would further boost efficiency and the day-to-day user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5

What I like most about Crunchafi is its ability to significantly simplify lease accounting for my clients. Lease compliance is an area many clients find challenging and frustrating, particularly following the implementation of the new lease standard. Crunchafi has truly been a game changer in this regard. The software is intuitive, easy to use, and provides extensive guidance, enabling efficient and accurate lease accounting while reducing complexity for both accountants and clients. What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I don't have much bad to say about Crunchafi. I haven't found another software to compare it too. I only have great things to say about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way the disclosures are set up makes it very easy for us to help our clients get their financial statements in order. The schedules are straightforward to use, and I like that they can be separated by lease, by entity, and so on, so we can pull together whatever information the client needs. "User-Friendly Lease Accounting with Room for Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I find Crunchafi Lease Accounting really easy to use, which makes things simpler for our team. It's user-friendly and provides consistent reporting, which helps since most of our clients are using it. The software has enough features to perform calculations without being over-engineered and includes helpful links for more junior team members. It's clear and simple to navigate, and exporting data is easy if I need to adjust reports and sorting. I also appreciate that the software is less expensive than others, which is more important for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I wish it had a little more configuration in the reporting and sorting, but it's easy to export and do so. I would love if there was a way to put in the details about the renewal period and just tick, include or exclude in the ROU asset and lease liability calculation. It would also be nice if it linked with QBO or SAGE, but I get that it's less expensive than others because it does not. Cheaper is more important in my book. "Intuitive, Accurate Lease Accounting for FASB & GASB Compliance"
5/5
What do you like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

Crunchafi, formerly known as LeaseCrunch, is a highly effective solution for managing lease accounting under both FASB and GASB standards. The platform generates accurate accounting entries and comprehensive amortization schedules, supporting a clean and compliant workflow. Its interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making navigation and implementation straightforward for accounting teams.

The support team at Crunchafi is exceptionally knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. They respond promptly to inquiries and demonstrated a strong commitment to resolving my concerns, even offering a Zoom call to provide additional clarification and walk through the issues in detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

This is not a dislike but rather a concern based on a prior experience. When I updated the Accounting Unit, the system processed the change correctly; however, the original Accounting Unit was overwritten, making the historical record untraceable. Having the ability to make necessary updates while still preserving the original history would be highly beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal Solution for Non-Profits with Lease Accounting Needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

What I like best about Crunchafi Lease Accounting is how simple and accurate it makes compliance with the new lease accounting standards. As a non-profit with a single capital lease, the software takes what could be a complex and time-consuming process and automates it. It clearly tracks the lease details, calculates the amortization, and generates the monthly journal entries, which saves time and reduces the risk of errors. It also provides confidence that our lease is being accounted for correctly and consistently, which has been especially helpful from an audit standpoint. I only use the software for one lease, so my frequency in the software is minimal however very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crunchafi Lease Accounting (formerly LeaseCrunch)?

I have not encountered any downfalls of Crunchafi Lease Accounting. It is an easy to navigate and easy to find reports needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
