Since it's owned by Facebook, CrowdTangle has the best and most reliable engagement data for Facebook and Instagram. It's quite easy to set up dashboards that display the top posts of a day for a topic on Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit. The interface is pretty easy to use, and its alerting capabilities are also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about CrowdTangle? It would be helpful to have full Boolean search capabilities when constructing searches. It also is limited to Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and recent Twitter posts, so it can't be relied upon as a full social listening solution. I've also leveraged its pre-built lists to monitor posts about that topic within specific pages. That has allowed the team to have more timely alerts of content that warrants further analysis . Analytical tools are the best part as I can easily analyse all the competitors' info. There are much data and comparison provided, giving us a chance to know more what other's doing. After understanding the market's demand and standard, promotion and content ideas can be adjusted. Besides, it is flexible for adding or removing some competitors in the wish list. I need to compare the contents across all competitors' social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on. Crowd Tangle is quite user friendly and easy for us to strengthen our marketing advantage in the media industry. Due to the fast pace working life style of media agency, we have to change our contents, and even ourselves frequently. Crowd tangle helps us smoothen the whole idea-generating progress and let us know what we are doing badly or something that we need to improve.Therefore, it's really a great platform if you would like to become a superb marketer, not only focusing on your local market, but also targeting different audience from all walks of life. The inability to backfill historical data on public social media pages and handles, and the inability to leverage complex boolean querying/filtering in dashboards.
