CrowdStrike Falcon® Guardian is an AI Detection and Response (AIDR) solution that helps organizations securely adopt and scale AI. Built on the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, Guardian unifies Shadow AI discovery, AI governance, data protection, AI-specific threat detection, and runtime security for AI agents. As organizations adopt generative AI tools and deploy increasingly autonomous agents, security teams need to understand not only how AI is being used, but what AI systems and agents actually do. Falcon Guardian delivers the visibility, control, and protection needed to secure AI interactions and agent activity, from prompt to impact. Key capabilities include: - Discover Shadow AI: Identify AI applications, models, agents, and related technologies, including previously unknown AI agents operating on enterprise endpoints. - Enforce AI governance: Control access to supported AI applications and models, enforce AI usage policies, and restrict unauthorized AI agents. - Protect sensitive data: Inspect supported AI interactions to detect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized exposure through blocking, redaction, and other policy actions. - Detect AI-specific threats: Identify prompt injection, jailbreaks, malicious AI interactions, and suspicious agent behavior using specialized AI threat intelligence and detection capabilities. - Understand AI agent behavior: Connect AI activity with endpoint telemetry to trace agent execution, including tools invoked, processes created, resources accessed, and downstream system activity. - Investigate and respond: Reconstruct AI-related attack chains, assess the scope and impact of suspicious activity, and respond to threats before they spread.
