Delighted to have found crowdpurr based on the team and customer experience I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** If I could change one thing it would be the ability to change questions within an experience without having to create a new experience, download those questions and then upload them to my existing experience. It made it so easy to just create a shared spreadsheet, have several people create the info, and then be able to just immediately create a quiz with a CSV file. We also liked that we could use the available canned questions. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** We were extremely happy. The only issues we had were either from trying to get our non-tech-savvy folks comfortable with it (which generally took almost no time), and just a few nit-picky customizations that we wished for but didn't detract from the experience. **Recommendations to others considering Crowdpurr:** We had a great time. Since we couldn't have a live host, we hosted through Zoom to allow interactivity. I would recommend having a person other than the host troubleshooting for folks or approving answers to questions if you use fill-in-the-blank. We ended up having people from other states participate, too, and it was a really fun weekly way to distract ourselves and come together for something fun. I don't need this tool all year, and it's great to be able to pay for what I need. In addition, when my event was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions put in place by the state governor, Crowdpurr quickly and cheerfully stopped my membership and refunded the purchase. If anyone wants to know what good service to a small business looks like, this is it. I can't imagine how they could have treated me any better. Some of the pre-made questions were not accurate, but that was easily fixed by doing a fact check. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** In a time during COVID-19, it could make trivia experiences at restaurants better as you can create a timer and ensure that people can get the answers in without handing you a piece of paper, making contact greatly lessened. For instance, we have sponsors for each round of trivia, so it is nice being able to change the logo displayed for each round so we can recognize the specific sponsor for each round. Being able to warp rounds and show winners for each round and accumulative winners was great! **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** It would be nice for users to be able to log in to an account from a different phone if needed. One team's phone died and they had to log into the system on a different phone to continue competing - this split their score on the scoreboard which was confusing for other participants who thought they were ranked higher than they were (the team with the split score was actually in first place). Additionally, it would be nice to have sorting options for short answer questions as they came in. They sort by the percentage of people who answered that way, but we had a team of judges trying to go through and manually review each answer. It was difficult to do this since the order changed as live answers were received. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have used Crowdpurr for a fundraising event which really helped the overall satisfaction and flow of the event (not having individuals from each team come to the scoring table with papers that need to be manually scored). We've also used Crowdpurr for a student competition we host annually. Being in Alaska, many of our communities are very spread out - using Crowdpurr opens the option to include students in this competition that would otherwise not have the chance! Which in turn opens our agency up to additional grant opportunities. ### 22. Would have liked some pictures and videos I could download and put into my presentations and advertisements to my clients. It was easy and straightforward to set up. All of the settings were explained well but best of all it worked flawlessly at the conference. We used the automatic setting and had 45 seconds between each of the 50 questions which added up to a one-hour session. After each question, it shows how many chose each of the multiple choice answers and then the leaderboard was the biggest blast of all. Look no further for a well designed, easy to use, interactive crowd participation app. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** It's a tad pricey. We didn't want anyone to see the votes or to skip ahead to view the next courses. After talking with Ross at Crowdpurr, we got the templates built for each night. It was easy to operate host controlled mode, and it really made for a riveting competition for the chefs, guests and judges. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** It was nothing on Crowdpurr's end, but we signed up for the plan at a point where we had to renew in the middle of the two-week competition, so we paid twice the fee that we should have. Internally, it was like buying insurance because we needed to know that we had the right platform. We did. **Recommendations to others considering Crowdpurr:** Take things for a test drive. They are very helpful. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Guest engagement was an issue for this event in the past. We had 140 guests per night.
