CrossBorder Tax Ledger is self-hosted, multi-currency bookkeeping software for small businesses, consultants and freelancers in the US, Canada and Mexico that invoice clients or pay suppliers across currencies. Record business income and expenses in US dollars, Mexican pesos or Chinese yuan, with exchange rates synced automatically every day from the European Central Bank and a full rate-history chart. Create unlimited client invoices and export them as PDFs, individually or in a batch. Monthly, quarterly and annual reports give you and your accountant the totals for any tax period, and a built-in encrypted backup protects your ledger and invoice data. The interface switches between English, Spanish and Chinese. The app runs on your own computer, so your financial records never leave your machine.
