"Such a Difference from other services!"

What do you like best about Critical Mention?

We've used other monitoring services before and they were clunky and hard for the clients to read and understand. Critical Mention makes obtaining clips so easy and the monthly reports look spectacular...we can add our agency logo and send it off to the client showing them coverage and value. Sometimes it's a challenge to set up a search, but one email to our tech person and they've helped us build a better search term. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were referred to Critical Mention from a colleague who was using another service we were using, who had switched to Critical Mention. What do you like best about Critical Mention?

I like the fact that I can have multiple searches set up, get multiple updates during the day, as well as having immediate alerts set up. This has helped me get on top of breaking news that has saved me from being surprised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Critical Mention?

It would be great if there was an app for my phone from Critical mention since many times I am away from my desk and to have to try and log in can be a pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of learning how to use the software is one added benefit of Critical Mention. I have been able to teach folks in our office how to use this in just minutes, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Critical Mention solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem that is solved is that I can quantify the value of the media attention that we have been receiving. Our leadership team likes to see the amount of stories that are generated weekly and monthly and I can generate reports showing that info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Media Monitoring Software"

What do you like best about Critical Mention?

Critical Mention uses up-to-date feeds of content and activity notifications from a large selection of media channels. I use these tools to monitor stories important to my clients, track mentions of the companies I work with by media outlets,s and monitor social media, blogs, YouTube. When I have trouble finding a story, their 24/365 team helps me find mentions. The customer service is the best -and I have used numerous services during my 30+ career.

The software they use allows me to target specific keywords, mentions, or topics, and customize feeds to my liking. The reports are easy to read and I can send links of relevant updates and alerts to clients. I can store relevant mentions and/or posts for future reference and when necessary analyze findings with reporting features such as number and frequency of specific posts, impact on a client, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Critical Mention?

Critical Mention makes it easy to search for the clips I know made it on air and it makes it easy to find stuff I did not know about. I wish there were ways to slice up the results so that I could quickly separate out the clips by TV station instead of doing it manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes it easy for me to show my clients the value of the time they spent on earned media. I work with the fire chief, for example. He likes to see that the time his team spent explaining something to a journalist was well spent.
