What do you dislike about Critical Mention? The thing I dislike the most about Critical Mention is that after 90 days clips disappear and can no longer be replayed. The biggest problem I'm able to solve with Critical Mention is providing fast download of tailored interview clips around my clients' hits. I'm then able to save those files and share them with the client so they can then repurpose on social media and through email listservs to donors, highlighting the influence and reach of their work. Being able to benchmark our value in dollars as well as exposure. Critical Mention allows us to see what works and what doesn't in real-time. What do you dislike about Critical Mention? I wish there was a way to have a little more context around ad equivalency. I would like to be able to explain why some clips are worth $400 versus $4,000. It can be very difficult to quantify the impact of a public relations team...Critical Mention gives us the ability to do that. Critical Mention provides the ability to switch from keyword searching to boolean searching, allowing greater control to filter results to find exactly what you are looking for. Being able to integrate social media listening into PR reporting is a huge bonus and something our clients have enjoyed immensely. The reporting has been another huge benefit. Being able to clearly present coverage, provide hits in different sections, paired with the ability to create a template for each client has been very successful. Lastly, the metrics and graphs for the reporting have saved an exuberant amount of time when presenting results to our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Critical Mention? It can be challenging to find placements in smaller trade publications and nice media outlets. Often trade publications only post their monthly issues online through a PDF which Critical Mention is not able to scrub for these mentions.
