It replaces Excel rosters, paper timesheets and WhatsApp groups with one app for the office and the field. Scheduling: Plan jobs and recurring shifts by drag and drop in a weekly or monthly calendar. Crew Active checks for conflicts automatically, for example when an employee is double booked or a vehicle, machine or accommodation is already assigned. Changes reach employees instantly through push notifications. GPS time tracking: Employees clock in and out in the mobile app. The location is recorded at start, break and stop and compared with the site address, and deviations are flagged. Clocking in also works without signal, and times sync automatically once the phone is back online. This gives you proof of every hour worked, for your customers and for labor inspections. Team chat: Direct messages between office and staff with push notifications and read receipts, as a business alternative to private messenger apps. Absences and time accounts: Leave requests, sick notes and time off in lieu run through the app, and overtime balances are visible to both sides. Reports: Hours, mileage and revenue per employee and per customer, with Excel and PDF export, plus a monthly DATEV LODAS file for your payroll office. Crew Active runs in the browser and as a native app for iPhone and Android, in German, English, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Turkish. Data is hosted on servers in the EU, and a GDPR data processing agreement is available.
