"Crelate is a solid ATS for our staffing agency"
4/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

We make significant use of the concept of "Activities" in Crelate, which was someone new to us when we switched to Crelate from our previous ATS. By logging specific occurrences with candidates and clients as separate "Activities," it creates the ability to produce very powerful, highly-detailed reports in order to determine what has/hasn't occurred. As well, when working on a job order for a specific client and position, the use of Stage Changes within the job's Dashboard is a very useful feature; including the fact that, by moving a candidate to a specific stage, an Activity can be created automatically (as opposed to each Activity needing to be manually created). One can even perform Stage Changes for numerous candidates in bulk, which makes Activity creation even more efficient.

There is one new feature coming out now that we're excited about trying: the ability to send questionnaires to candidates and clients. Hoping thing will vastly improve our ability to collect crucial data, without necessarily having to call each person just to find out the basics which determine whether or not the candidate/client is viable, and worth a follow-up conversation. What do you dislike about Crelate?

When creating a job order, and then adding select candidates to that job dashboard so that one may then contact them and track them through the process, one can only add 300 candidates to the job at a time. Oftentimes, we are linking 1,500+ candidates to a particular job, meaning we have to perform 5 or more linkings of 300 apiece. This takes time; and, it's something that occurs multiple times every single day. It would be nice if one could link more than 300 candidates at a time.

In addition, moving 1,500+ candidates through a Stage Change take rather a long time. I mean, the system does it for you; but, one has to wait a few minutes for it to occur. So, it's best to just occupy oneself with another task while waiting for the stage change to execute. It would just be nice if it happened more quickly...again, we're talking several minutes here. Response from Wilson Attebery of Crelate

Thank you for your review. I agree about the value of the activities. They took me a bit of time to adopt, but now I have an entire page of reports devoted to activities and I am better for it.

It is wonderful to hear your excitement for the new product feature. I think you will be pleased with how it works, and some other goodies we have coming soon.

The developers are going to be interested in your comments about the time it takes to move large volumes of candidates through a stage change. Given that they are always looking for ways to optimize the process and make things faster, I am sure they will start using this variable in their testing.

"Great product, exceptional customer service"
5/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

The product is very user-friendly. It is a product that is deep, robust and scalable but thought of from the client side NOT the technology side which heavily benefits the end user... very rare in any technology today.

Customer service is also top-notch. Unlike others ATS's I've used and compared Crelate focuses assuring they are solving problems not "closing sales" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

I can't think of anything at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Wilson Attebery of Crelate

Thank you for this review. Your guidance of considering the entire user experience, and not just features, is some great advice when shopping for an ATS (or any software really).

"This is the perfect tool for an independent recruiter"
5/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

Being new to the recruiting industry, and having never used any Applicant Tracking Software, my choice of software packages was an interesting one. After extensive research, I opted to go with Crelate given its value, excellent support and ease of use and I have never regretted this decision. This program has been crucial to my success thus far and I have already recommended it to several others in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

My main issue is that I haven't fully explore all of the features of the program, although honestly I feel that Crelate has been excellent in their efforts to educate me on their improvements and their support is truly great. Actually my one main issue is that as a Canadian user, when I enter an address, it automatically defaults to input US cities of the same name which creates unnecessary steps for me in entering candidates. There is no way to override this feature or have it default to Canadian cities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Wilson Attebery of Crelate

“…having never used any Applicant Tracking Software, my choice of software packages was an interesting one.” This made me laugh. Not only is Crelate the first ATS I used, but your statement reminded me of when I was first researching Applicant Tracking Software. If I am to be honest, "interesting" is a much nicer word than I used.

I hear your pain point about not being able to set Canadian cities as the default. I will make sure to pass this feature request along to both our development team and our support team. They use customer feedback to greatly influence product development planning.

We changed to Crelate about a year ago and could not have been happier! It helps us staying organized and make more hires. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

We have been generally happy. One thing that could get improved is the map function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Wilson Attebery of Crelate

“…staying organized and make more hires”. I may steal that for the marketing team.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for letting Crelate be part of your success this last year.

I will share your recommendation about the map function. If you would like to provide more suggestions, or insights, on how you would like to see it function please use the help button in the app to contact support. They will make sure the necessary details are shared across all teams.

"Crelate Fan"
5/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

Ease of use, especially as it relates to adding new candidates and jobs. I think it is also a very good value and can be used by individual recruiters or large firms and companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

There is nothing I dislike but I would like to be able to talk to their help desk vs. exchange emails.

I have not used the features that allow you to share information with clients but that might be an area they can improve on a bit. Clockwork and Thrive do a very good job with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Functional, affordable, personable customer, service web-based ATS"
5/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

I did a very extensive research trial when choosing my ATS and what stood out about Crelate was the price for value added. They were considerably more affordable compared to the big names in ATS platforms and had as much functionality, if not more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

Occasionally there are features that have bugs or could be more functional but over the years, these typically get resolved by Crelate. They are constantly working to improve the platform and have frequent updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent ATS, and so easy to learn, logical database!!"
5/5
What do you like best about Crelate?

It speeds the recruiting process along tremendously - create a submittal form to use while you're screening a candidate and BAM - your submittal notes are ready to send, all from within the database.

You can very quickly move a candidate through the steps from sourced to screened to submit, interviews, etc.

Things are where you want them to be, right where you would look to find, or fully customizable if you do want to move something.

It's great for setting up follow-up calls from Sales people after the recruiting and submittal has been made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Crelate?

I haven't figured out if you can text from the ATS but that would be a great addition.

It's difficult to find something to truly "dislike"!!

If it came with a feature that would pull in contact information from outside sources, such as LinkedIn

It tends to only allow one candidate by a specific name so we have to re-name each "John Smith" as John

Smith 1, John Smith 2, etc.

If there was a way to verify that the contact info we have on file is still valid and that numbers are connected, emails are still working, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
