The best thing about Crelate is its User Experience. The dashboard is easy to use and easy on the eyes. I like being able to navigate from candidate to candidate and how the process of tracking unique candidates works. I like the reports section too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Crelate? I dislike that even though you can text on Crelate, you can't connect your own number to it. Instead, candidates have to call the Crelate number first, only to find out that they have to call a different number to reach the recruiter. The odds of some candidates completing those extra steps to contact someone are slim to none. It's very annoying also to use two numbers for texting; our work numbers, which are our main form of communication, and then additionally the Crelate number, which doesn't do much for us besides log the texts. That's the only benefit of it. You should try and find a way to link other work numbers to Crelate; I'm sure we're not the only company that doesn't enjoy it. It is helpful to track everything that is happening/happened and any communication. I also like the setup of the job boards and how you can see what candidates are on which steps. Crelate's flexibility in terms of displaying information is, overall, excellent compared to previous systems that we have used. The parsing tool is effective, and the concepts of workflows and activities to drive orders forward and generate activity for reporting, while tricky to fully understand, is effective. I LOVE the user interface and the ability to drag and move multiple candidates at once. Tags are very powerful, and the searching tool is excellent. We've also found that our implementer and customer service have been very responsive to questions and concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Crelate? No system can do everything equally well. A few areas that we've found limiting include: -The inability to easily share a note from Crelate with colleagues. There is a neat "mentions" feature, but it does not work for users, only for contacts in the system. -Some elements are still clearly "in progress" - i.e., there are some quirks within various integrations that have led to us needing to find slightly awkward work arounds -It does not allow for making required fields in contact/opportunity/company records when entering. Recommendations to others considering Crelate: If anyone thinks they are going to avoid finding things to be annoyed about in an ATS or CRM, you're kidding yourself! Crelate has been a huge breath of fresh air for us. The flexibility, searchability, ability to work with pretty high volumes, and support is all great. And I'd much rather be in a system that is working out kinks, but is very active in finding ways to build and improve their system - which everything from our experience with Crelate thus far has indicated they are doing. I'd recommend making sure to put the time in on the front end of your integration to understand how the system works, and make sure to tailor your processes to fit within it before your data comes in.
