Credibled Automated Background Checks is a Canadian HR technology solution that enables employers to verify candidate information quickly, accurately, and at scale. The platform is designed to replace manual phone calls, paperwork, and inconsistent processes with a structured, automated system that supports compliance and better hiring decisions. It is used by small and mid-sized businesses, staffing agencies, and organizations that need to streamline background and reference verification as part of their hiring workflow. Credibled provides access to more than 17 verification services, including: - Criminal background checks with results available in as little as 15 minutes - Professional reference checks supported by an AI questionnaire builder - Lead generation through reference checks, allowing employers and staffing firms to convert references into potential candidates or business opportunities - Education and employment verifications to confirm qualifications and work history Credit checks and driver abstracts for roles requiring financial or driving responsibilities - Social media screening to review public online presence - International checks across 229 jurisdictions for global hiring needs The system integrates with modern applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software, reducing administrative overhead and embedding background checks directly into existing hiring workflows. This helps organizations shorten their time-to-hire while ensuring compliance with industry and regional requirements. Credibled also operates on a usage-based pricing model. Employers only pay for the checks they conduct, without subscription fees or hidden costs, making it accessible for businesses that hire infrequently as well as those with ongoing recruitment needs. Beyond functionality, Credibled contributes to community impact by partnering with Indigenous police services in Canada. A portion of revenues from criminal background checks supports local policing operations, strengthening community capacity while enabling safer hiring across the country. By combining speed, automation, and added value features such as reference-based lead generation, Credibled Automated Background Checks offers organizations a structured, cost-efficient, and reliable way to verify candidates while also supporting business growth and community initiatives.
