The greatest value I gain from Courseau is the return on my investment of time and resources. I have a large collection of manuscripts covering research in different areas of psychology and mental health. Courseau is able to transform these into highly professional, visually appealing, and effective online courses, highlighting the most important findings from my manuscripts in a way that is engaging for users. What problems is CreateUpon solving and how is that benefiting you? For several months, I explored a range of AI course creation tools, drawn in by the promise of fast content generation. However, I was consistently let down by the results: the courses produced were generic, relied on templated designs, and the content often felt shallow and lacked real authority. Having spent 39 years as a clinical psychologist, I am now channeling that experience into consultation, education, and coaching. It was essential for me that the final product truly reflected the depth and quality of my professional journey. Courseau has proven to be a dependable partner, supporting me as I transform decades of research into accessible material that can be shared widely, enabling others to benefit from this knowledge in their own professional practice. This tool has significantly accelerated all of my course development projects. I appreciate that it allows you to upload multiple documents and URLs to build courses. It's convenient that you can either let Courseau automatically generate the learning objectives or enter them yourself. The platform presents the course in a sleek, easy-to-navigate format. As a consultant, it doesn't make sense for me to purchase the enterprise version, but with the individual version, I can't download content as a SCORM file. I appreciate that it automatically extracts images from the documents I upload, which saves me the extra step of adding images to the slides myself. Its ability to distill a pdf that is flat form and makes it possible to generate an interactive course. Reading is one thing- providing responses to challenges via a quiz enhances understanding. I quickly fell in love with Courseau as it provides great value for our organization. The ease of setup was remarkable, especially with the help from the Courseau team in aligning the platform with our brand guidelines, making it feel uniquely ours. I appreciate how Courseau has allowed us to create interactive courses from content like boring PDF/ text documents, like policy documents. By transforming these into engaging courses with relevant cases and quizzes, our learners can grasp the material much more effectively. The process of creating courses is also straightforward and intuitive, thanks to the impressive design and user interface. I am particularly fond of the great customer support; they are quick to assist us whenever we need help and even proactively add new features in response to our needs, enhancing our experience further. Courseau is capable of collegiate level instructional material using the instructional systems design industry standards. Courseau also permits control of what source material is used. Ensuring only quality and trustworthy source material is used to create content is an imperative in my line of work. I used Courseau as a "proof of concept" tool that generative AI for the purposes of collegiate level training using controlled sources exists, saves time, and can leveraged to improve the business model. Metrics of student performance is very important to us along with the ability to show how effective the training has been. Creating collegiate level training to include the instructional systems design industry standards with generative AI is a complex issue. The biggest issue was a system which allows for the use of selective materials which are trustworthy and uncompromised. A system which searches all available sources, regardless of source, was something of a dealbreaker. Compromised training materials would be a nightmare. The training content created needed to be derived from trusted sources as identified by the user of Courseau. Test question creation in an industry norm format, distance learning (online) and classroom presentation (lecture), and performance metrics were non-negotiable.
