CrawlCare checks a site from the outside the way a visitor or search engine does. It looks at Core Web Vitals and loading speed, SSL, email authentication (SPF and DMARC), broken links, and the plugin versions a WordPress site shows strangers. You get a plain-language report in about a minute. There is no account and no card for the free scan. If something needs fixing, prices are published up front. A full audit starts at $79. CrawlCare backs the site up before changing anything and focuses on WordPress care and malware cleanup for small businesses. Owners can also run a free no-email PHP2Shell exposure check and a WordPress plugin-version check on crawlcare.com without signing up. CrawlCare is built and run by a senior web developer in South Africa with more than 15 years of web work. The free outside scan is for small business sites that need a clear next step, not a jargon dump. Paid options cover cleanup, security work, and ongoing care when the owner wants help after the scan. Fix packs and care plans are listed on the pricing page with the same numbers for every customer. A green free-scan result is not a promise that the server is clean. Remote checks cannot see files on disk, the database, or cloaked spam. When Google shows a hacked warning, owners still need Search Console Security issues and a proper cleanup path. CrawlCare's Hack Rescue service covers backup, malware removal, closing the entry point, and the Security issues checklist when a compromise is confirmed. We say plainly that we cannot promise when Google clears the banner.
