"The boss of Dynamic Migration - CrateDB"
5/5
What do you like best about CrateDB?

The thing I like the best about CrateDB is the usage of the "Dynamic column" option which makes it eaiser to implemenent the dynamic column import. While creating table for my data this option helped me to migrate all the columns from excel to database without any declaration of each and every column. I also loved the design of the Admin UI which has an option to query single table data with "just a click of a button".

Furthermore, the experience of Customer Support was also based on one on one meeting with the technical manager, which helped me a lot in solving technical difficulties more precisely.

There are multiple python libraries out there which supports the integration of the crateDB with my script.

Finally, I use this product daily and for data pipelining, and I would like to recommend this product to all the people out there.

Just try it once! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CrateDB?

There is nothing so far to dislike about CrateDB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"a DBaaS with interesting functionalities for developers"
3.5/5
What do you like best about CrateDB?

I liked the keyword search with fuzzy functionalities. I liked the interpolation in time series analysis. I liked the idea the information can be compared by mathematical vectors. I liked the traditional SQL interface. I appreciated how it is easy to do these tasks in the programmer point of view. I liked the idea of integration that this product seems to provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CrateDB?

I understood the product was built in particular for real time data processing and for data analysis (time series) . I did not understood if it can be used for others operations the companies usually are facing. For instance reporting production that have to satisfy particular templates or to be published in a distributed environment (es. Qlik, SAS,..). Data quality activities that implies data comparing and data correction.

I did not understood if the tool supports effectively the security/authorization issues that normally a big company has, for instance some office can see some data, other can not.

I fear the latencies due to newtwork infrastructure. How to handle with table with 60 million records? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
