We scoured the market for solutions, and Parablu’s BluVault was the only one that could do what we wanted. Parablu’s ability to use OneDrive meant we didn’t have to pay escalating costs in the form of NAS filers we had to provision. Besides this, BluVault solved several other issues for us as well – that we could not get addressed with our previous solution. It is genuinely an enterprise-class product, but with the added benefit of leveraging OneDrive. A no-brainer for any M365 shop. **What do you dislike about CrashPlan Platform?** Not much. It has been a while since we have been using BluVault for all our endpoint backup needs, and I can’t say we have come across any significant issues Parablu’s product team is excellent and is very open and receptive to feedback and new ideas. **What problems is CrashPlan Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were using a well-known and what many would consider an industry-leading endpoint backup solution previously. However, we had two significant problems with it. It wasn’t designed well for remote users – and all data from endpoints across the globe had to travel to a central hub before being written to backup storage. Secondly, our storage costs were going up every year. BluVault has been designed for scalability and distributed use. Remote users can back up through a local BluVault server to their OneDrive, with only meta-data making its way back to a central hub – a vastly superior alternative. And, of course, the ability to use OneDrive was instrumental in dramatically reducing our storage bill. And BluVault has an array of centralized monitoring and management features with configurable policies which give us granular control over backup behavior irrespective of where users are located.
