CPGShield is a fast, reliable, and simple way to review and fix a cosmetic SKU's label before it goes to print. Paste or upload a label and the engine screens it against over 1,500 rules and 18,500 matchable ingredient names covering FDA labeling requirements under 21 CFR 701 and the FPLA, MoCRA obligations, California Proposition 65, state chemical bans and PFAS restrictions, prohibited and restricted ingredients, and drug and marketing claim risk. The ingredient standards of six major retailers are screened as well. Every rule is verified against the primary source, the regulation or statute itself, not a secondary summary. The output is a report citing the specific regulation behind every finding, plus corrected label text you can hand to your designer or co-manufacturer. Built for indie and high-velocity brands that release SKUs significantly faster than a regulatory consultant can review them, at a fraction of per-label review cost. Sold in credit packs, no subscription. CPGShield is a screening tool, not legal advice, and is independent of every retailer and agency named in its output. We currently serve companies selling in the United States.
