Feature-Rich and Beginner-Friendly, but the Interface Feels Dated **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Codi W. | Creative Design & Tech Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026 **What do you like best about cPanel?** alot of features and makes managing website easy for beginners **What do you dislike about cPanel?** Rising costs – The per-account licensing model has made the product noticeably more expensive, particularly for agencies and resellers, and it’s become harder to justify as the number of accounts grows. **What problems is cPanel solving and how is that benefiting you?** cPanel solves the problem of having to manage a web server manually. Instead of dealing with command-line tasks, configs, and guesswork, cPanel gives you a simple dashboard to: Upload and organize website files Create and manage emails, databases, and domains Handle backups, security, and SSL certificates Monitor usage (storage, bandwidth, etc.) In short, it turns complex server administration into point-and-click tasks, saving time, reducing errors, and letting you focus on building or running your website rather than maintaining the server. ### 2. cPanel Stuck in the Past **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Angie M. | Business Owner/mentor, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022 **What do you like best about cPanel?** There was very little I liked about cPanel.
