Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Strategy and Breakeven
The right-hand side will show the break-even chart, which includes both strategies and their life expectancies. Depending on their life expectancy, the chart will show which is the best strategy for the client(s).
Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Adding a New Client
Select add in a new client. When adding in a new client you will first select the type of client you have (Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed). Click on Save and Next.
Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Input Client Information
It takes less than five minutes to input basic client information.
Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Social Security Information
The earnings page will require you to enter in the Statement Date, how much the client will receive at Full Retirement Age, the age the client will stop working, and the anticipated annual income of the client after 62. 
Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Strategic Options
The software will automatically create two Social Security strategies. One will be the suggested strategy and the other will be the earliest strategy. On the left-hand side, you can see how they compare in their total benefit amount and click into them to view more details.
Covisum Social Security Timing Demo - Alternative Strategy
Click “Personalize Strategy” will allow you to create alternate strategies. Cash flows will give you further details on if their desired income is being met and what their cash flows will look like.

What do you like best about Covisum Social Security Timing?

I have used this tool for several years and it has been essential to my planning business. This breaks down the options with Social Security in a way that makes it very easy for my clients to understand and make informed decisions. I also recently added Tax Clarity and love them both. I don't really have any complaints. Sometimes filling it out can be tedious. Would be better if you could autofill by loading other forms. Also there are other programs that can do this but also do a lot more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
