"CoverageBook saves time in compiling clipping reports for clients"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

We were manually clipping coverage to send to clients. Using CoverageBool.com made the process much easier and pulled in the data. We were also able to get the data on clips that our other service could not access. We had a client that had 3 entities and we were able to separate them into sections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

On some articles we had to redo the clip, so it took a little longer, but the results were great when uploading the graphic we wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Major upgrade to PR coverage reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

The metrics and format are the most helpful parts of CoverageBook.com.

I found Coveragbook.com when researching ways to improve our Ad Value Equivalency (AVE) calculations, which we'd done the same way for decades. We knew our method wasn't great, but didn't have an alternative. Covagebook's algorithm and metrics are more meaningful and justifiable than tying value to 1x ad rates. The books are polished and easy to understand, a big step up from our clunky PDF files with clipped screenshots.

Coveragebook.com has saved me hours of screenshots, cropping, and reformatting every month, but most importantly, our clients love it. They can simply click on a clipping to open the URL for that piece of coverage or download attached clippings from the book as needed, instead of having to ask us. Also, for clients with headquarters outside of the US, a coverage book is much easier to share and the metrics are explained within the book. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

I'd like to have the Backlink metric automatically on each piece of coverage with an aggregated number at front of the book.

Also, a little more flexibility for cover images, sizing logos, and font sizes would be nice.

There is no downside of using Coveragbook.com that I can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jordan's Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

Coveragebook allows us to put together slick, clean reports that collect all of the media hits our clients have obtained throughout the year. It is a tool we use at every midway point of the year, and at the end of the year it is a cornerstone of our year-end reports to clients, which makes them vital to helping us display our work, successes, and helps us renew client contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

The screenhots that Coveragebook takes of news sites are sometimes ad-riddled, pay-walled, or just don't look as nice as other sites being clipped. Sometimes, we have to go in and manually screenshot sites to get a better image, but then this cuts out the rest of the story/article. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gary Preston of CoverageBook

Thank you Jordan,

Since your review, we've made great progress on cleaning up issues with bad automated screengrabs of news sites. However, some sites still need a workaround. But we have launched a dedicated toolbar to help makes this so much easier - https://coveragebook.com/clipper/

"Gives the ease of PR clipping like nothing else."
4.5/5
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

The thing I love most about this application is that it does a great job to clip PR report content, pull related statistics, and organize it in a clear, professional-looking report that can be accessed whether through a live connection or a PDF paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

I've used it for many years, however, and it works well. The only thing I find a little inconvenient is that the online reports and figures gathered by certain sources are outdated and it would be better if this can be improved more frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An essential tool in the PR kit"
5/5
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

So easy to start a report. Quick & easy upload. Very professional looking results. My clients who have seen reports so far have been incredibly impressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

The fact that the service can't evaluate off-line coverage. Smaller clients don't have big budgets to pay for press clippings services that automatically evaluate for you, so having to manually evaluate in order to input the metrics into Coveragebook.com can be time very consuming.
