We were manually clipping coverage to send to clients. Using CoverageBool.com made the process much easier and pulled in the data. We were also able to get the data on clips that our other service could not access. We had a client that had 3 entities and we were able to separate them into sections. The metrics and format are the most helpful parts of CoverageBook.com. I found Coveragbook.com when researching ways to improve our Ad Value Equivalency (AVE) calculations, which we'd done the same way for decades. We knew our method wasn't great, but didn't have an alternative. Covagebook's algorithm and metrics are more meaningful and justifiable than tying value to 1x ad rates. The books are polished and easy to understand, a big step up from our clunky PDF files with clipped screenshots. Coveragebook.com has saved me hours of screenshots, cropping, and reformatting every month, but most importantly, our clients love it. They can simply click on a clipping to open the URL for that piece of coverage or download attached clippings from the book as needed, instead of having to ask us. Also, for clients with headquarters outside of the US, a coverage book is much easier to share and the metrics are explained within the book. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about CoverageBook? I'd like to have the Backlink metric automatically on each piece of coverage with an aggregated number at front of the book. Also, a little more flexibility for cover images, sizing logos, and font sizes would be nice. There is no downside of using Coveragbook.com that I can think of. It's free and I think you'll be impressed with the ease of use and depending on what your current reporting format is, how slick and professional looking the books are. As a PR agency, we frequently have to justify the expense of retaining us to our clients' management, without having an opportunity to interact with them directly. Many people don't understand the value of PR vs. buying an ad or paying for click-throughs on an email campaign. Being able to show the lifetime views, backlinks, and social shares of a piece of coverage is critical to helping some clients understand the significance of PR. Coverage books address this problem in a way that also saves me 5-10 hours per month compiling clippings reports, and our clients have enjoyed showing off their coverage books internally, to their own bosses.
