Coupa puts the options on a silver platter and I am the one who decides. I would like to be able to mark my products through a bookmark button. I like the fact that we got all the functionality of Coupa Procurement but tailor made to our sue case using our jargon and account line formats. I like the fact that it does not require a complicated installation and only requires a simple web browser and internet connectivity. In my organisation mobility is key and Coupa Procurement allows us to access our requisitions from anywhere and from any device. The security that comes with being cloud hosted give us peace of mind knowing our Supply Chain Management data is secure. i like the fact that it integrates client and vendor system enabling easy ordering by clients and response to orders by suppliers. I like the transparency which comes from being able to view all the stages of your order e.g Pending buyer action, Approved, ordered, received etc. I also like the escalation feature where a requisition stuck in one stage for too long is flagged for action by a higher ranking office. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** I can't say I dislike anything about Coupa Procurement at the moment because my alternative, the one we migrated from, was a painful manual process. **Recommendations to others considering Coupa:** For all larger enterprises with complex supply chain requirements but still using manual workflows to immediately switch to Coupa Procurement which will bring them massive return on investment! **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving efficiency, transparency and mobility issues. Where catalogues are implemented this makes it very simple for users to order goods/services but also ensures that Procurement have control on items being purchased. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** The reporting function is not as good as we hoped and required a lot of "stitching" multiple reports together to get the information required. Improved reporting is available if you have the analytics tool but of course this costs additional money. WIthin the reporting we've also found that there isn't always a consistent manner if how the reports are structured of the information available. For example in the req header reports you are unable to drag in the supplier name, the currency of the order or the CoA, however this is available in the req line report. **Recommendations to others considering Coupa:** Really consider the Analytic's module and ensure that you don't configure Coupa too much. Reconsider your processes to fit with Coupa rather than the other way round. **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Despite the reporting not being as good as we hoped and taking more time to produce than anticipated, we have now been able to obtain information at a group level across all of our markets. This has previously not been possible due to various systems being used so this is a step forward for us. It can serve a small business AND a multi - billion dollar corporation with the same software which is incredible. The visibility into the spend when all employees use it is unparallelled, and can create endless opportunities for the company's procurement department. It's all about the long term benefits! **What do you dislike about Coupa?** We ran into some errors during implementation and after that were from the software itself that could have turned into something significant had we not stopped immediately. Coupa does collect feedback often from it's customers and does make meaningful updates each new release - including a few errors we saw. Also, the learning curve for vendors and employees is large - especially if your data is not standardized. However, It has been the best system I've seen for procurement. There's nothing more simple for software There could be greater integrations and considerations for the data for suppliers. **Recommendations to others considering Coupa:** Coupa is only going to be as good as your leaderships willingness to promote it as well as the cleanliness of the data coming into it. After time of using it and many updates, it is really user friendly. We are able to track invoices, POs, link with all of our vendors rather than receiving a paper or email invoice creating extra work. It also links with our capital projects software in order to track capital expenditures. We can submit for our employee reimbursements as well. Digital receipts for mileage are awesome! **What do you dislike about Coupa?** I don’t like that I can’t save frequently used locations in my driving receipts, I have 5 main locations I visit and it would be genera to just choose a location from a drop down menu. Especially when I submit a months worth or more of mileage at a time. I also wish the approvals that came through email had a copy of the invoice attached so I didn’t have to log into coupa through the web to view what I need to approve. Less steps the better! **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quicker payment processing for our vendors is important. We work for such a large organization we used to see invoices and payments being lost all the time and that’s not acceptable for the small local vendors that have supported our organization for years! ### 23. Simplicity is not synonymous with poverty here, quite the opposite! The management of a product catalog in "Amazon like" mode is a real plus in the process of purchasing our overheads, which perfectly complements our need for dematerialization of the billing chain. **What do you dislike about Coupa?** Small complication to the start of the project as to the availability of the module "Invoice Smatch not yet available on France." Coupa pre-sales have nevertheless reassured us on this point.A to follow during the phase of emboarding our suppliers. **What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Coupa project is part of a global overhaul of our entire supply chain. We handled 50000 overhead orders manually: no catalog, no order form, no budget tracking. With the Coupa solution we hope to track budget commitments efficiently while allowing our employees to make the purchases as accurately as possible.
