The ability to recognize symbols, perform and group count multipliers, manual count and measure is groundbreaking. Truly easy to use and the only real requirement is a proper set of drawings. Also, I would like to see a way to export the excel sheet with itemized measurements instead of lump sum. This would be effective in itemizing independent track or linear segmented sections. When taking off containment the item you have covered isn't removed from the drawing as other takeoffs. On a busy drawing, it can become very crowded and hard to see what has or hasn't been covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You nailed it when you mentioned Countfire has being designed with estimator pain in mind. I spent 10 years at the estimator coal face and our entire support team are also former estimators—having that in house knowledge makes a world of difference when designing & supporting Countfire.
I know what you mean about containment not being removed. It's a little tricky as the linear measurement side works quite differently to the symbol counting side. We've got a feature request related to this though (link below) and I've added your vote towards it.

Love that you find the software simple! We try hard to make workflows in-app as streamlined as possible.
With copying groups between the count & measure tabs, we've got a feature request open related to this.

Particularly on larger projects with multiple floors, Countfire saves time by automatically counting symbols. I only need to set up a symbol and make a selection once - this then gets applied to the rest of the drawings in a particular discipline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When forgetting to put a scale in, it can be missed (the software highlights up) until downloaded and seen in the Excel take off document. It doesn't prevent you from processing and flagging up a big red warning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
