As someone who works closely with data every day, Count has become my go-to tool. The Miro-like board makes it incredibly easy to build and organize my thoughts visually, and the graphics are both simple and effective. It really helps make complex insights understandable—not just for me, but for the whole team. One of the best things Count has brought to my workflow is better collaboration between product and customer-facing teams. By giving more autonomy to product managers, they can now dive deeper into the data without needing constant support from analysts. It’s also made it much easier to incorporate feedback from support and sales teams, combining qualitative feedback with quantitative insights. For us, that’s been a huge win. **What do you dislike about Count?** Honestly, there’s not much I dislike. If I really had to mention something, then I'd say the very occasional bug with my laptop - when I have multiple (like, really a lot of them!) heavy Count boards opened at the same time. Before, only analysts had the tools (and the time) to dig into the data. Now, with Count, product managers can run their own analyses, explore hypotheses, and answer questions independently. When evaluating a new AB-test, we import a boiler plate via template and only need to adjust a few parameters. Additional drill down plots are created quickly thanks to the drag and drop nature of visual elements. **What do you dislike about Count?** The setting to automatically execute cells can be dangerous. If you forgot to set a upper limit for your data, e.g., an end date for time series data, opening an old dashboard can execute very large queries. It would be great if this setting would turn off if a dashboard has not been opened for some time. **What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?** It creates a way to collaboratively evaluate data, e.g., AB-tests. From there, it is really easy to create reports as needed for downstream users and collaborate throughout the process. I've also started implementing their metrics layer + duckdb server which will allow our business users to slice and dice their own data without taxing the data warehouse. This alone isn't a differentiating factor - but the platform actually provides the workflow infrastructure to fully realize this goal. You have full access to the typical filtering/faceting/aggregation features, but these behave entirely differently - and i would argue closer to what users have wanted all along - when coupled with the canvas.
