What do you dislike about CouchDB?

The lack of a command line interface is a disappointing coming from a SQL and MongoDB background. The JSON data model isn't as robust as Mongo's BSON. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CouchDB?

If I want to query documents based on a field which is not unique, I have to create a temporary or permanent views. I believe creating temporary views for such simple common scenarios is not so developer friendly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CouchDB?

Easy to setup and ramp up time is pretty fast. REST interface and accessing documents by via REST service is a clear winner. Storing unstructured data as document and having to write mapreduce routines for querying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CouchDB?

Did not scale well when our data reached over 100GB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
