The calendar dashboard makes it easy to see visually where your social posts are and how full your days are. This platform is good if you don't have a lot of social channels to monitor or send out a lot of posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about CoSchedule Social Calendar? I found it difficult to keep track of what platforms had posts scheduled on a specific date when there are a lot of posts scheduled. We colour-coded our posts for each platform but I wish there was an easy way to filter them. Also colour coding by platform meant we couldn't colour code by campaign. It just wasn't easy to keep track of what has happening when. They also removed their analytics feature which added another strike against them for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is CoSchedule Social Calendar solving and how is that benefiting you? For us, CoSchedule was a step up from Hootsuite, which just felt like a mess when we left it. CoSchedule's calendar dashboard is a great way to visualize how busy your social calendar is, and if you're overloading one day/time with more posts than in needs. Once we fine-tuned our usage to a specific aspect of marketing communications -- in our case for outbound email marketing -- this tool proved to be very useful and provided some built-in integrations with our email platform that helps save time for the marketing team. We work with multiple brands and 10+ people on our team. This allows us to look at the entire workload of the team and plan accordingly. For members of our team that use Google Calendars to track their workflow, CoSchedule does not allow them to easily navigate the app without having to do double work tracking their schedules. We've NEVER had to have an internal learning session for anyone using CoSchedule for the first time. It's completely intuitive and everyone feels confident operating across the platform. What I like best about CoSchedule is how easy it is to automate repetitive tasks, full processes, and our social media posts. Our team has saved so much time having both socials and team tasks in one program so we don't have to look two places at once. What do you dislike about CoSchedule Social Calendar? It takes a LOT of work to set up all your processes in it, but that's true with any task/workflow management program. It also can get pretty busy on our social calendar (we have 4 LinkedIn profiles, 2 Facebook profiles, and 1 Instagram) but the separate social posts view helps with that.
