Cortex Data Lake allows to the NGFW palo alto and Cortex XDR to save the logs and have more information to review and find diferents behaviors. Normally in my environment, I have used it for sending the Prisma SASE logs for a backup in the future. when many times the logs are not visible on Prisma end so in this case, this is very useful. and also we can forward Palo Alto firewall logs but we can not forward other vendor firewall logs on cortex data lake. You can also set the storage for different types like Traffic, Threat, System, Configuration etc according to your requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Cortex Data Lake? The most disliked thing about the cortex data lake is that you can not forward the cortex data lake to SIM and SNMP. But integration with third-party vendors using API connection can be improved for better results on threat and malicious content identification and classification.
