The frequency of use is also high because of its continuous monitoring capabilities, which ensure security at all times. Additionally, customer support is responsive, which adds a lot of value when you need assistance quickly."

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

One thing I would mention is that, while Prisma Cloud offers a wide range of features, it can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new users. The learning curve, particularly with integrating all its tools and features, might take some time. Additionally, while the platform is powerful, frequent use can sometimes reveal the need for further customization to fit specific needs, which may require more effort in terms of setup and implementation.

I don't like anything about it. I do admire their sales team. How you can convince organizations to buy hot garbage at 3 star michelin restaurant prices is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

I have too large of a list but the ones that take the cake are:
-Huge number of false positives
-I spend more time figuring out false positives vs. fixing real issues
-The UI is just ugly to look at especially after the latest upgrade to the UI
-The reports are abysmal and not helpful for regulated spaces
-Alerts are difficult to configure and fine tune
-The limited support for GCP and other cloud environments re:rules/alerts
-Lack of comprehensive attacker or threat based models or views (other vendors excel)
-Support has got to be one of the worst in the industry
-Once you sign on the dotted line, you'll be forgotten until your renewal is up

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was supposed to help me solve CSPM and vulnerability management. I have to rely on other tools to actually do this for me today.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?**

- a wide range of security services, including threat detection and response, cloud compliance, vulnerability management, and comprehensive cloud security coverage.
- easily expanded by integrating with various cloud providers and third-party security technologies.
_ offers thorough information on cloud activities and assets, making spotting and monitoring security threats simple.

- Prisma Cloud is a high-end cloud security platform, which could be pricey for some businesses.
- Some users may find the Prisma Cloud user interface perplexing, particularly those who are unfamiliar with the ideas of cloud security.
- the ability to scan expansive cloud environments can be slow.

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The comprehensive cloud security platform Prisma Cloud provides a variety of capabilities and integrations. ### 44. Excellent CSPM Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tulio B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?**

The tool shows Compliance and Alerts with extreme detail. It supports the most security standards I've seen in a CSPM tool, such as SoX, LGPD, GDPR, CIS (all versions). Also, automatic remediation is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

Investigations and Policy customization is complex and confusing to do. To customize a policy, you need to understand the RQL language, which is not intuitive.
Also, the Data Security Module never worked properly in my company. We make the scan, Prisma Cloud shows the alerts, but when we remediate the files, it doesn't update, doesn't disappear from the console.

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance of the multiple Cloud Platforms we work with. Container security and auto-remediation of misconfigured resources. It helps me to keep the cloud secure, keep compliance of the cloud, discover resources misconfigured and at risk.

  ### 45. Great CSPM when integrated with other Prisma products and small number of cloud computing accounts

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?**

I loved it when we first got it. It was the first CSPM we got at my company and we deployed it to our top 5 AWS accounts. I loved the visibility and seeing all the frameworks and areas for improvements as well as getting alerts for new resources spun up that weren't secure or were outside of our business standards (i.e. new instance, open on all ports, world accessible)

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

2 main things that were a determining factor for us at renewal was the number of API calls against our cloud resources. We maxed out our API calls per day due to the sheer volume of queries it does against AWS. We had to really rachet that back to keep legitimate business API calls from getting dropped.
The other was the renewal. We were licensed by cloud account, not by resources, etc, so renewal was from 5 accounts to 90-ish and it was way way WAY cost prohibitive for us, so we had to drop it.

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaining visibility into our cloud infrastructure and where we were multi-cloud, we needed a single pane of glass to look across all the systems with similar metrics, regardless of if it were GCP, AWS, Azure, etc. It was our first CSPM so having this greatly helped know our security posture whereas before, it was very much "known unknowns"

  ### 46. Comprehensive Solution for Cloud Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

The platform also offers automated compliance checks, which can help organizations reduce the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

There are some undisclosed features and a generic bug in the secret key management service that should be addressed. Additionally, the cost of using the platform may be a downside for some users.

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prisma Cloud from Palo Alto Networks is solving a number of problems related to cloud security. It secures applications from code to the cloud, enabling security and DevOps teams to work together seamlessly. it helps to solve most of the CI/CD issues that are application-level problems, saving teams time and money. **What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?**

Nothing, they don't have good support technical for standard customer, if you want good support you need to buy Premium support.

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

Solution management and architecture of this product and it is also not user-friendly

**What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One issue to resolve they are taki almost 1 Month time but still you will not get any appropriate response

  ### 50. Prisma Cloud for AWS and GCP

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?**

If you're looking for a product with a lot of functionality and are willing to put in the time to learn it, Prisma could be a good fit. But if you prioritize a good user experience, you may want to look into other options.

**What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?**

Prisma is a cloud security product that offers a lot of functionality but falls short in terms of user experience. The product has many features, but navigating through them can be confusing and overwhelming at times. Additionally, the user interface is not intuitive and could be improved.

Prisma is a cloud security product that helps organizations to gain visibility into their cloud environments, detect potential threats and vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements. It provides a centralized platform that allows IT teams to monitor cloud resources.
