"Another level cloud platform"
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

First of all most of our engineers find it very helpful because of the diverse options that they get and also the platform is user friendly. There’s a clear visibility of microservices, teams, and who owns some of the aspects and what not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

I would say initial set up was slightly complicated but as we move forward, it was much more easier to understand how the things work and other thing I would say the pricing factor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

Always the learning curve can be steep for newcomers, especially without prior experience in observability tools, configuration flexibility comes at the cost of complexity. Pricing may also become an issue at scale, depending on data retention and usage patterns. Lastly, certain features or integrations may still require hands-on tuning or aren’t as mature as more established platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Palo Alto Networks Cortex Cloud provides excellent visibility across the infrastructure, with intuitive dashboards and strong detection and response capabilities. The integration with multiple data sources is comprehensive, and the built-in automation helps reduce incident response times. Scalability in enterprise environments is one of its strongest advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

"Reliable, Scalable, and Intuitive Cloud Management Platform"
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

Cortex Cloud stands out for its intuitive user interface, seamless integrations, and powerful automation capabilities. The dashboard is clean, informative, and customizable, making monitoring and managing complex workflows easy. One of the best features is how effortlessly it integrates with other cloud tools and platforms, making the transition smooth and almost effortless. The system is also highly scalable, which has been crucial for our organisation as we’ve grown. Real-time insights and monitoring help us stay proactive rather than reactive. The support team is also knowledgeable and quick to respond, which has made a significant difference in adoption and implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

While Cortex Cloud offers a lot of robust features, the learning curve can be a bit steep for new users, especially those not familiar with cloud infrastructure. Some of the more advanced functionalities aren’t as well-documented as they could be, which may require reaching out to support more frequently in the early stages. Additionally, occasional performance lags can occur during peak usage times, though they’re not common. More in-platform tutorials or onboarding walkthroughs would be helpful, especially for first-time users trying to navigate its full capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid platform for managing infrastructure."
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

Cortex Cloud helps reduce the complexity of managing different services. It brings everything into one view which makes it easier to spot issues quickly and respond faster. The integrations with other tools like Slack work smoothly, and the incident tracking is solid. It makes our day to day work a lot more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

Some of the features feel a bit hidden or not fully documented, which made the initial learning curve slightly steeper than I expected. Also while the UI is generally clean, I wish there were more options to customize the dashboard to match my workflow better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A complete security solution for cloud environments, ideal even in the study phase"
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

Although I haven't used it in a real production environment, I have had the opportunity to study and explore Cortex Cloud thoroughly in lab environments. What caught my attention the most is the way it centralizes security for different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. The interface is very clear, and the alert and policy system makes it easy to understand how to detect threats and misconfigurations. I found it very useful for automating incident responses and for visualizing the security status in a graphic and detailed way. I believe that for any security team, having a tool like this is a great advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

From my experience as a student, the most complicated thing was getting familiar at first with all the modules the platform offers. It has many advanced features and, although that is a strength, it can make learning a bit slower if you don't have prior experience with cloud security solutions. I noticed some examples that weren't so clear, which I had to read many times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Cloud Security Platform with Some Room to Grow"
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

What I like most is how much visibility it gives us across all our cloud environments. It does a great job detecting threats and keeping things compliant without needing a ton of manual effort. The real-time monitoring and automatic remediation features are super helpful, especially when you’re juggling multiple cloud providers like AWS and Azure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

The UI can feel a bit cluttered at times. There’s definitely a learning curve. Also, getting some of the integrations up and running takes more trial and error than I’d like - more documentation or guidance would go a long way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

One aspect I dislike about Cortex Cloud is that the initial setup can be a bit complex and time-consuming, especially for new users. "Prisma Cloud helps immensely with automation"
What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

The abilty to loo at my terraform scripts is a huge benfit to using Prisma Cloud. It also helped with resolving ,ajor issues in my Cloufformation scripts. It has been worth every penny . It indentified vulnerabilities in our apps and helped us to resolve them. Its risk remediation is second to none. It an agentless workload so we do not need to install any cumbersome agents. It provided us on prem and cloud vulnerabilty detection and management which is huge. It also helped us to indentify and resolve account permissions issues in AWS. This is a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

Its diffciult to learn every aspect of the product. It is feature rich so you really need to take one option at a time. A seperate team is really needed for this product. We dumped it on the security engineering team and they became overwhelmed wirth the workload. We had to diversify the various alerts to different teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
