I like invoice automation since I can readily access an actual visual of an invoice. I like the ease of getting my payables ready to pay and just clicking a button to get those payments made. We have been extremely pleased with services from Paymerang since we started in Dec 2021. Currently, we send all payments for businesses to Paymerang to process once a week, and print all checks to individuals ourselves to hand out or mail. We have had problems with our USPS mail service, so offering multiple payment methods to our vendors through Paymerang has been a positive experience. Customer support has been friendly, very knowledgeable, and had a quick response time. The security team provides reassurance by verifying that vendors are not flagged with suspicious activity. Paymerang works directly with our vendors to get their questions resolved. It also allows us to offer payments via ACH to our vendors, which many of them appreciate. It saves me time, because I can just upload the payment file to Paymerang vs having to cut checks to some vendors and then enter ACH information into our bank and pay those extra fees to accomodate our vendors. It often takes a while for vendors to receive payments issued via check and some have even thrown away the envelopes, thinking it was advertisements. It's also frustrating that our large utility payments must be sent via check, even though most of the utility companies accept payment via credit card. I've been told there is a limit to how much can be sent via that method, which is frustrating because I often receive late notices due to the check and notice passing in the mail. Paymerang has been so helpful for us to be able to get payments out quickly. There is very little that I dislike about Paymerang. I wish there was a way that I could send out ACH invites to people within my company that I might reimburse and I wish there was a way to add payments to the same batch if they are late instead of having to create a new one, but that's just me being picky. Many things were NOT communicated to us before we signed our contract. There are monthly fees for using the system which no one told us about (in addition to the price per check, ACH, or card payment). They claimed it is in the contract, but that is extremely vague, as it could have been assumed that these are the fees for the payments only. Not to mention, I received an email before we ever signed up that said there was "no cost" to us! Misleading. They said in your demo that they reach out to the vendors to switch them to ACH/card payments, but what they don't tell you is that they have a window of time in which they do this. They only contact vendors between the time you import the payment file and the time you fund the payments, so if you import and then fund right after, they never reach out! They have a minimum card payment amount (I think it's something like $300) so if you have a small invoice, they will pay by check (even if the vendor takes card/ACH payments) which costs US more money. During their demo, they showed us that you could upload PDF files or payment information that would go to the vendor; however, that is not the case. They simply keep this information on file and use it "if they need to." They made it sound like if you had anything you needed to tell the vendor (such as why an invoice was short paid) that all you had to do was upload that information and it would go to the vendor. Nope! If the vendor calls Paymerang or questions a payment, they have that document to "reference," but they do NOTHING with it otherwise. We have an account rep, but recently when I emailed him about a problem, I was told to "email support" because that would be faster. Overall, I am extremely disappointed due to the lack of communication, misleading information, and poor customer service. My suggestion would be for Paymerang to explain all these little "sub-points" in the contract so that the client fully understands their processes before signing. We like Paymerang's electronic payment methods, and use Paymerang for all vendors who want to receive ACH payments, and many who accept credit card payments. The rebates more than cover the cost of sending payments, and keep our vendors happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paymerang seems to be dealing with the same understaffing that most companies are seeing these days. Payments below a certain threshhold are sometimes paid by check instead of credit card, which sometimes causes confusion when vendors are used to a different payment method.
