They optimize payment methods based on vendor acceptance, do all the work of processing credit card payments (manually entering through vendor portals, etc.), and coordinate issue resolution on vendor payment issues to where your team only becomes involved when necessary to solve the issue. Rebates achieved on vendor card payments for us exceed any payment processing and software subscription fees, making the solution net zero cost. Customer support is generally true to its "white-glove" marketing - they are pretty responsive and take care of a lot for you. We have a personal account relationship point of contact. It was very easy to integrate with Dynamics Great Plains and they provided all of the integration resources up front. We were up and running within a matter of weeks. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** You must either setup a wire-pull relationship with your bank account, or come to an agreement with them about funding via ACH. If funding payment batches via ACH, they will not process the batches of course until your deposit has cleared. This can sometimes delay "urgent" payment processing and if payments need expediting we often simply do it internally instead of passing to Paymerang. Additionally, information about vendor payment methods is treated as proprietary - for example, there's no easy way to run a history report of vendors and payment method, or history of payment method. With card payments, there's no customer-facing indication of how Paymerang processes those - it's considered proprietary and part of the value of the platform, and you don't have visibility to that at the detail level. **What problems is Corpay Complete solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paymerang can free up a significant amount of time from staff who process payments by completely outsourcing. Additionally, they optimize vendor payment methods to what vendors accept in a way that optimizes your cashback and payment efficiency (instead of you or your staff having to perform this optimization). Now, we can track the entire lifecycle of an invoice from receipt to payment, all online. It was, by far, the easiest software implementation I have ever been involved with and it was really easy for employees across all departments to learn and implement our new process. I have had several department heads go out of their way to tell me how much they love Paymerang. It's rare that we have problems, but when we do, I can quickly get help through the support desk or my dedicated specialist. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** I wish the different portals flowed together a bit better. For example, if I want to see all the details (including payment) for a particular invoice, I first have to look it up in invoice automation and then look it up again in payment automation. I am new in my role as Director of Finance for a school, and I was nervous tackling a transition to an automated payment processor in the first quarter of my tenure. The transition was seamless and so easy to implement! We use Blackbaud for our financial system and it integrates well with Paymerang. Our vendors have been thrilled with the option of ACH and CC payments because we were formerly mailing checks. We process around 80-100 payables per week (98% of which are being processed through Paymerang). We have an email account that forwards all invoices directly to Paymerang. Paymerang reads the vendor, invoice number, invoice date and amount owed. This helps with the accuracy of records. The AP Department can then send out the invoices to the exact people that need to approve them. Importing the completed invoices into Veracross is simple. A CSV file is created and we can then upload the invoices to the AP Ledger. Once we have completed our AP process we then can send a file back to Paymerang for payment. Paymerang payment is fantastic. We no longer have cut checks and mail them out. Vendors can received their payments quicker if they sign up for ACH or Credit Card. WIth a weekly wire to Paymerang our bank reconciliation is much quicker as well. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** There should be automated emails sent back to the AP Department if an invoice has been rejected by an assigned approver. Invoices uploaded should be catergorized under a vendor by date. **What problems is Corpay Complete solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to consolidate AR and AP responsibilities with invoice and payment automation. ### 9. I waited about a year to go through implementation, but I should have moved sooner. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** I wish we didn't always have to send a weekly wire with the funds. If you are already paying vendors ACH, there should be a faster and seamless way to have them paid via ACH as well (not by check first). This slows the process down. All accounts payable tasks were centralized with our AP Coordinator, who we had to follow-up with for payment updates. With Paymerang, we now issue payments via card, ACH, and check, and approvals are handled electronically. Several key employees can access Paymerang's site directly to see payment status and vendor information. After using their payment automation solution for a year, we added invoice automation, and are budget administrators are loving the ease of reviewing and approving invoices electronically. Budget admins can see where in our AP process their invoice is and can follow-up with our vendors or colleagues if more details are needed. Paymerang has a responsive customer support team, easily accessible via a support email address. They provide assistance in a timely manner. Implementing both the payment and invoice automation solutions was extremely easy, and Paymerang integrates easily with our financial software. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** We have no negative experiences to report. I like the ease of uploading my payment files. Many of our vendors have opted in for the electronic payments and that keeps our customers happy, as well. The reporting has also been easy to use. Their response team is great at fast responses to questions and issues. I like that I can query on a vendor and it will list all of the payments to that vendor and show the status (settled/issued). They also send a weekly settlement file which is helpful. The whole process in general is so much faster and easier than when I was processing everything in-house. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** We have had a lot of frustration with payments that are mailed with a physical check. Especially at first, as there was apparently a spacing problem that cut off the city & state so many of our payments were just lost somewhere in USPS. Once they resolved that issue, it has been much better, but the delay on physical payments is still very frustrating. When they do reissue a payment, I wish they would have a place on the payment file to let me know why. Did it come back? Was the CC refused? Some kind of detail would be helpful for when my vendors call. Fortunately this is not the case with most of our vendors. It saves me time, because I can just upload the payment file to Paymerang vs having to cut checks to some vendors and then enter ACH information into our bank and pay those extra fees to accomodate our vendors. The best part is that Paymerang doesn't cost us a penny, in fact, we always get a rebate check back from Paymerang each quarter. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** It often takes a while for vendors to receive payments issued via check and some have even thrown away the envelopes, thinking it was advertisements. It's also frustrating that our large utility payments must be sent via check, even though most of the utility companies accept payment via credit card. I wish there was a way that I could send out ACH invites to people within my company that I might reimburse and I wish there was a way to add payments to the same batch if they are late instead of having to create a new one, but that's just me being picky. **What problems is Corpay Complete solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously we were producing paper checks to every single vendor weekly and having to phsycially get a check signor to sign the checks, fold them, stuff them, and then run them through the mail machine to mail them out and if there was an issue we would get the checks a week later and have to call the vendor, check the address, and start the process all over again. There are monthly fees for using the system which no one told us about (in addition to the price per check, ACH, or card payment). They claimed it is in the contract, but that is extremely vague, as it could have been assumed that these are the fees for the payments only. Not to mention, I received an email before we ever signed up that said there was "no cost" to us! Misleading. They said in your demo that they reach out to the vendors to switch them to ACH/card payments, but what they don't tell you is that they have a window of time in which they do this. They only contact vendors between the time you import the payment file and the time you fund the payments, so if you import and then fund right after, they never reach out! They have a minimum card payment amount (I think it's something like $300) so if you have a small invoice, they will pay by check (even if the vendor takes card/ACH payments) which costs US more money. During their demo, they showed us that you could upload PDF files or payment information that would go to the vendor; however, that is not the case. They simply keep this information on file and use it "if they need to." They made it sound like if you had anything you needed to tell the vendor (such as why an invoice was short paid) that all you had to do was upload that information and it would go to the vendor. Nope! If the vendor calls Paymerang or questions a payment, they have that document to "reference," but they do NOTHING with it otherwise. We have an account rep, but recently when I emailed him about a problem, I was told to "email support" because that would be faster. Overall, I am extremely disappointed due to the lack of communication, misleading information, and poor customer service. My suggestion would be for Paymerang to explain all these little "sub-points" in the contract so that the client fully understands their processes before signing. **What problems is Corpay Complete solving and how is that benefiting you?** There aren't many things that Paymerang has solved. Overall, it seems that when there are problems, it causes me more of a headache because not only do I have to reach out to the vendor to fix, but now I also have to reach out to Paymerang. ### 49. The rebates more than cover the cost of sending payments, and keep our vendors happy. **What do you dislike about Corpay Complete?** Paymerang seems to be dealing with the same understaffing that most companies are seeing these days. Payments below a certain threshhold are sometimes paid by check instead of credit card, which sometimes causes confusion when vendors are used to a different payment method. **What problems is Corpay Complete solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paymerang collects banking information directly from vendors for ACH payments, so I don't have to manage that information or manually process these payments.
