Outsourcing the distribution of funds takes away a huge burden from an Accounting staff, especially if physical checks make up a large portion of one's regular payments. The ability to track payments, view check/remittance copies, and use Corpay's robust website and report library adds excellet visibilty for managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Corpay Complete? Accounting Departments must add to their timeline of processing payments with the additional layer of approvals to ensure due dates are met (especially if cash discounts are involved). The flexibility of cutting a check late in the day for a last minute invoice are gone - Accounting is now committed to a process. Also, while many companies are familiar with 3rd party payment processors, Accounting will need to spend some time educating its vendors on enrollment (e.g. ACH, credit card) and be comfortable directing traffic to Corpay's vendor support rather than resolving challenges on their own. Lastly, Corpay will strongly encourage enrollment in their credit card or premium ACH features, therefore Accounting Departments must have a thoughtful approach to maximize enrollment in these features without sacrificing cash discounts, incurring processing fees, or spending excessive customer service time. Credit card enrollment can be tricky - vendors often accept credit card payments, but with certain restrictions (e.g. fees over certain dollar amounts, forfeiture of cash discounts). We have also ran into trouble when we used our cards for bigger purchases and ran out of credit. There is no way to pay early online. I think this would be beneficial. My favorite things about Corpay is that they do the complete process from start to finish. I use them everday and once they receive your invoices you upload to them, they weed out duplicates, they ask questions, they process the invoice (US currency or Foreign currency) and then provide the file to upload into our system. The ease of use and we have a dedicated contact that helps due to our large volume. It implemented seamlessly with our accounting software and their customer support is suberb. If you need anything in the afternoon it is not possible. I wish they would open or have a team that is dedicated to the West Coast clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. We used to process our foreign invoices in house and since switching to Corpay it has opened up additional time for us to handle other processes. Also, when we did it in house we had to pay up front to get an accurate conversion rate then wait for the client to pay us back. Paymerang is an excellent tool for virtually completely outsourcing the processing of payments to vendors. They optimize payment methods based on vendor acceptance, do all the work of processing credit card payments (manually entering through vendor portals, etc.), and coordinate issue resolution on vendor payment issues to where your team only becomes involved when necessary to solve the issue. Rebates achieved on vendor card payments for us exceed any payment processing and software subscription fees, making the solution net zero cost. Customer support is generally true to its "white-glove" marketing - they are pretty responsive and take care of a lot for you. We have a personal account relationship point of contact. It was very easy to integrate with Dynamics Great Plains and they provided all of the integration resources up front. We were up and running within a matter of weeks. You must either setup a wire-pull relationship with your bank account, or come to an agreement with them about funding via ACH. If funding payment batches via ACH, they will not process the batches of course until your deposit has cleared. This can sometimes delay "urgent" payment processing and if payments need expediting we often simply do it internally instead of passing to Paymerang. Additionally, information about vendor payment methods is treated as proprietary - for example, there's no easy way to run a history report of vendors and payment method, or history of payment method. With card payments, there's no customer-facing indication of how Paymerang processes those - it's considered proprietary and part of the value of the platform, and you don't have visibility to that at the detail level. Paymerang can free up a significant amount of time from staff who process payments by completely outsourcing. Additionally, they optimize vendor payment methods to what vendors accept in a way that optimizes your cashback and payment efficiency (instead of you or your staff having to perform this optimization). What I like most about Paymerang is taking the process of vendors out of our business office. We were previously issuing most payments via check, and now have the ability to via ACH and credit card as well without having to do a separate process for each payment type. In addition, we feel confident there is an additional level of fraud protection as we know Paymerang support is reaching out to our vendors to confirm payment information as well. The main downside i can think of is having to go to another system outside of our ERP for payment status information.
