Make sure that you have your ducks in line on how your want your process to work before you start the implementation with Cornerstone so you know the tool can do everything you want it to do. We were developing a new performance management program based on goals and competencies and wanted to streamline it and make it digital to get rid of all the "paperwork" and manual effort associated with reviews. In the end, the system didn't really work very well for us because we could not get the back end algorithms to align properly even though Cornerstone provide a lot of special support for us.
