## Cornerstone Learning Reviews
  ### 1. New to Cornerstone Learning and Loving It!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margaret M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The platform is very easy for end users to navigate and so many options to get to the same spot. There are a good number of courses and the content is equally as good. I am still fairly new but learning everyday and rolling out bits at a time to my employees. Implementing any new program takes time. I have received great feedback from my employees on the ease of use and the courses. They do wish there were more courses surrounding specific departments such as accounting, finance, and credit. The sales, customer service, leadership, and manager courses are good in number.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The downside from being an administrator is learning the setups, creating emails, email digest, and making sure they work properly. I would like to have webinar classes available for 2 to 4 hour course walking through some of these set ups. Office hours is good for this but I have found myself calling in 3 times a day to get my question fully answered.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

I don't think you need to look further. Cornerstone is a great product. I had a rough implementation as the person I was working with left the company during my initial setup and the next couple of people had a difficult time helping me. There was not a clear path at that time given to me as to what to expect, what I needed to prepare for next, the training videos were not the newest ones available now.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am part of a task force looking at succession planning for three different departments. We have identified the candidates to promote from within over the next 2 to 3 years and with Cornerstone Learning I am able to set up and create Development Plans to help track progress.

  ### 2. Great in Theory...For a Large company the execution needs help

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone has some great industry leading engagement ideas. The customization opportunities can be very appealing

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Unfortunately, the execution can be flawed for companies with complicated infrastructure (read large multi faceted companies). Sometimes it feels that ideas are half baked and after they are released with flaws no one is really working to fix the flaws because the focus is always on the next big thing.

Technical support is probably the biggest down side. Something goes wrong and you are in for a very long frustrating journey. You will hear the words "Working as expected" so much that it will become a joke.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

If you are a smaller company I think Cornerstone is probably great, but I don't beleive the are ready to handle larger more complicated companies...they do seem to be working towards that, but their attitude needs to change and more attention needs to be given to the large companies

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to integrate our Learning/Career/Performance since we purchased all 3 clouds and it does make it nice to have everything in one place.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you've been able to streamline processes. I’m sorry that this has been your experience with our product releases and support team. We’d love to work with you personally to better understand what ideas felt "half baked" so that we can work to alleviate some of your concerns and create a plan to improve your experience. If you want to connect with the Product team to share more about your experience or you've continued to experience issues with Global Product Support, please contact us at wecare@csod.com. Once again, we appreciate your feedback.

  ### 3. Great tool with steep learning curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I love that you can assign permissions to almost any aspect of the LMS. Each user can be defined, then re-defined on what they can do, what they can see, and what they can report on. I also love the reporting. Reporting 2.0 really upped the game, and delivers automated reports daily with tons of data.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There is a pretty steep learning curve, even for those who are experienced. It takes awhile to "get" how Cornerstone is working, even then it almost takes visual cue cards to remember what interactions need to take place to get from A to B. Because of this, better support is needed. While the community feature is great for answers, you need to dig deep to find them, and know the correct search term. Customer support is almost non existent for anything but a minor issue, and can take weeks or months to resolve.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have consolidated a somewhat manual registration process, that used various platforms and processes into one system. Cornerstone has made many task obsolete, and allowed staff to focus on other areas. Automated emails to students has been a big plus.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing a learning curve with our solution. While the Cornerstone Success Center (CSC) is a great resource, have you considered looking into Cornerstone University? There is a great team that can help support you get more deeply trained on our system. We are also sorry that you have had a negative experience with Global Product Support (GPS). GPS has been dedicated to improving our response times and overall support. Our goal is to respond to all cases within one business day. However, we do know that some cases take a little longer to troubleshoot. We are dedicated to serving our customers better. If you have continued to receive slower than expected service from our GPS team please contact us at wecare@csod.com and we will work to ensure that your cases are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion.

  ### 4. New to Cornerstone

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone is a VERY robust system, with many many options within it. We reviewed 30+ LMS platforms and we believe that Cornerstone not only had the most to offer, but was also one of the most well-rounded systems. In addition to the platform itself, I believe that the content partners that Cornerstone is able to provide may be second to none. We are completing our initial implementation and will be selecting content in the near future, and even though we are shopping several suppliers, I believe that it will be hard to look past what Cornerstone is able to offer.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone is one of the largest providers in the market, and that can be a double edged sword. We are a small/medium company operating in the construction/utility infrastructure market, employing primarily blue collar employees. We have faced a few obstacles in regards to E-learning and how to roll this system out to our workforce. Even though we have been able to work through most of the questions/issues, it is not always a quick solution.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, we have focused our training initiatives almost solely in the Safety realm, more specifically as it applies to OSHA focused training. These training sessions have been SME led (in-person) and require significant downtime over the course of the year for our workforce. With Cornerstone, we anticipate being able to cut these sessions in half by allowing our Operations leaders to perform many of these training sessions on their own. Not only do we anticipate significantly reducing the cost to the business, but also increasing the knowledge takeaway with our workforce.

  ### 5. Cornerstone Learning is Awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlee A. | Talent Development Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that Cornerstone continues to take in customer feedback and improves their learning platform accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There is a learning curve using the system, and sometimes is difficult to find where to utilize the full functionality of the system.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease to make updates to training and to track attendance has been a huge improvement. It has saved time, and is a great way to track what is working with our employees.

  ### 6. CSOD Learning - my review 2020

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like the flexibility when it comes to customizing the landing page base on user metadata.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The multiple places an admin has to configure Events (Courses). I realize the CSOD is on the path to update this... so thank you!

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Attend one of the annual Cornerstone user conferences "Convergence" learn from this great community!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Distribution and availability of learning objects on a global scale!

  ### 7. Amazing Training Resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

As an licensed educator and experienced LMS administrator, I have found the Admin "Learn It Live" virtual training sessions to be extremely helpful. Interacting with the instructors to get questions clarified and learning from other participants has been priceless! Thank you for all the free training support!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

It takes a while to become fluent in the powerful tools at your disposal. I recommend having a mentor for any new administrators.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

For someone new, be sure to have an experienced mentor to guide you in your learning journey.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Troubleshooting has been easy with live instructors, learning communities, and documented resources.

  ### 8. CSOD makes it easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

CSOD makes the administrative tasks I have on my plate that much easier. With automated emails, reporting dashboards, and Learner Home - I can't imagine doing my job without an efficient LMS.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Some things in the system aren't easy to walk through on your own, but the Online Help feature found on every page is valuable!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a global company with employees in countless countries, speaking over 10 different languages. CSOD helps provide a consistent experience no matter the language, and the mobile readiness helps when your employees don't all work at computer workstations.

  ### 9. Fantastic LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The ease of use. The system is configured to be simple and easy to use without resorting to a help desk to resolve issues. It's fail-safe design helps even novice training administrators become effective in a short time.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Occasionally, the usually concise integrated help resources are not detailed enough to give the user a 100% confidence that the provided answer is clear enough to avoid a redo of a specific action, like making recurring dynamic assignments. It took me a while to feel comfortable about creating more complicated assignments the first time.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

With the support provided by the Cornerstone team and their consultants, any company large or small that feels training is vital to their performance will find it beneficial and cost effective. Our implementation required 1 internal employee for approximately 3 months for about 10 hours weekly to implement the software.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making training assignments for all employees was challenging. There was/is so much turnover our training efforts were always in a catch up mode, or some employees were never assigned relevant training.
With Cornerstone, no employee starts work without relevant training assignments due to the OU structure foundation being in-place from day 1. Ours is a feed from ADP, so whenever a new employee is activated in ADP then imported into Cornerstone, the OU structure finds them, then assigns them what they need. 100% productivity gain for the administrator.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Hi Kevin, thanks so much for your review and most importantly, your feedback. I love this "100% productivity gain for the administrator" and am thrilled to hear that the platform has been intuitive overall. If you're interested in continuing the conversation around how we could improve the online help resources, or would be open to learning more about Cornerstone's client advocacy program, please email us at wecare@csod.com. Thanks again for your feedback, and please take care of yourself during COVID-19.

  ### 10. Good for Tracking, but could be more intuitive.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaimie W. | Training Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that you can add class sessions, have people sign up, print sign in sheets, create curricula for a "Learning path" for an individual and ALL of it can be tracked, and reported on.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

It is not very intuitive - there are confusing items like when you create something there is a "save" or a "Done" - why have both? It just creates confusion. I also do not like that you don't have a live point of contact assigned to you after implementation. IT does not respond in a timely manner - in multiple cases I have figured out my issue before they respond.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Be sure you have an assigned person that is going to be with you even the weeks after implementation, because the implementation part leaves you no time to actually get in and test the system - which is where you're going to have the most questions.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking is big for us. Seems so simple, but we're a small company, so being able to track individual's training hours, trainer's training hours, and being able to in the future, report on ROI for training will be big for us.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Hi Jaimie, thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you're happy with tracking and reporting capabilities. Your feedback has also been passed along to the respective teams. Please reach out to us directly at wecare@csod.com if you have any ongoing issues or delays with GPS. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Take care & stay safe during these uncertain times!

  ### 11. Develop your employees with an easy to use LMS software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dietmar C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

As a administrator Cornerstone Learning is really easy to use. You can assign learning packages in a quick manner, and the reporting system is really good. Crucial data is highlighted so you can gather the most important datasets at first glance.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

From a user point of view, the quiz interface could use a liftup and be a little bit more straigh forward, so people of every skill-level can use it.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving employees possibility to improve their knowledge in order to support a continuous learning environment.

  ### 12. Great Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacey F. | Learning Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

for the most part it is easy to use and engaging for employees. Cornerstone is always trying to do its best and innovate for the future.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There are some pain points which can take awhile to be addressed.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Great tool

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping employees learning. Tracking their growth and finding new ways to solve problems.

  ### 13. CSOD addict's view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhanapal P. | Buisness Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Reporting 2.0, Security Role administration, New Learning Details Page and looking forward for the QR Code attendance release

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Edge Import it is annoying very much when we try to upload the learning loads.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Best of all my previous learning applications

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adherence to Compliance learning requirements. User friendly and meets almost all requirements.

  ### 14. Great Learning with an advocate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that Cornerstone Learning is a robust platform. I can host others' training through a variety of uploads. I can engage my learning community with the knowledge bank add on. I can make any kind of file, really, into a learning object - it doesn't have to just be a Word document or a PDF.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The other side of a wide variety of options is that you HAVE to know what you want before you go in. You HAVE to have a plan. You HAVE to know every button and check option or else your users' experience wouldn't be what you want.
The testing portal isn't that sophisticated, but that will be fixed in a few deployments.
You can no longer get to the help page without logging into a 2nd website.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have to give so many live training events freeing up the time of our SME. WE have one single place to keep training tracking.

  ### 15. Project Director and developer of elearning content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The talent management system has good stability and reliability. The administrative tools are good. We have different portals/OUs for different affiliates which is nice to centralize learning and performance in a single tool. Learners can easily find courses and complete them in the system. Curricula work well for bundling LOs. Standard reports are good and I like the training status on the course console for quick reference. It would be cool to have a click to export a report from there.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I would love for there to be a link between pilot and production. We do our testing in pilot and would love to be able to have a copy feature from pilot to production. Many of our issues are due to internal limited resources to use many of the capabilities effectively. I dislike the hover navigation bar at the top difficult and would prefer there was a clickable main page for each section (my learning, my performance, etc). I'd like to be able to embed vimeo module and not just youtube videos. Custom Reporting is complicated.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

It's a good tool for talent management. Make sure to plan and implement governance regarding the course catalog and learning object naming at the beginning to make it easy for learners to navigate. Do lots of communication. Be creative!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance training for regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, Harassment & Discrimination, etc. Centralized location for learning. We use on the job training and observation checklists for skills-based review and testing. We are doing an annual performance review and would like it to be used year round for skill and professional development. We are experimenting with

  ### 16. Good Learning Platform That's Improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

CSOD Learning accommodates just about every learning format you could want. Like any platform there's a learning curve, but they're also renovating the platform to be more intuitive to today's technology users and adapt to modern learning needs.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I wish some of the updates would come faster. Some of the compliance "features" make it difficult to rapidly manage content. I completely understand why they are in place though.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CSOD is helping us connect and track workers to necessary training in a single tool.

  ### 17. One of the best LMS on the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I greatly enjoy the ease of use. It is very easy to learn and grow with. As you learn the basics you can always learn more and add greater value to your cloud.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

With any software, the updates are constant and sometimes are not seamless. I often get nervous when a scheduled update is coming because they means change and change often affects functionality. Every problem is solvable but often there is an issue that needs fixing.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Long and difficult to implement but the multiple clouds and ease of use allows many if not all needs being met.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving all corporate training needs: 3rd party training, sales, on-boarding, compliance, partner training, soft-skills

  ### 18. Cornerstone Learning has been an integral part of helping our employees learn and develop.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that Cornerstone Learning is easy to navigate and is a great platform to help disseminate and track learning opportunities for our staff. We typically use Cornerstone Learning modules as pre-work to complement our in-person and virtual learning opportunities. It is helpful to track attendance at these events through Cornerstone Learning so that when we hold them in the future, we know who has and has not recently attended. We also use Cornerstone Learning to catalog past Marketing or Lunch and Learn events that we have on a regular basis.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I dislike how Cornerstone Learning reporting sometimes glitches and lags. We often run into issues with the quizzes freezing at the end of training and not registering that an employee has, in fact, completed a training. I then manually have to mark that individual as completed. The downsides of using Cornerstone Learning are that it's a platform that people seem to struggle learning and navigating if they don't use it frequently. Once you learn the terminology and layout of the platform, it is easy to find what you're looking for, but most of our engineers don't spend enough time in the platform to know or understand the navigation features.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving problems of sharing learning content instantly throughout our company, which is made up of roughly 1,000 employees in 11 offices across the United States. We primarily use these features to record the safety and compliance records for our staff who need to be OSHA certified to physically be on-site to conduct field observations and check the progress of their construction projects.

  ### 19. Cornerstone Learning Rocks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The ability to adopt the features to our liking and needs!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Reporting can be challenging and I am excited about the new Reporting 2.0! Looking forward to start using the new features!

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Cornerstone has been an excellent partner for our organization and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership in the years to come and implementing the other products that we have purchased through them.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to scale down from 5 different LMS's into one - CSOD Learning. We are adding the full Performance Suite so we can offer our employees the best experience in connecting learning to employee development, coaching, to performance and succession planning!

  ### 20. Learning for all

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MAndi W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone Learning is a powerful platform, capable of transforming your employees development programs and learning strategies. The platform is intuitive and versatile. We utilize for both compliance and development training, allowing employees to receive the training they need but also develop skills they want.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The platform offers so many options. While the versatility is awesome, learning how to navigate and set up the system to meet your business needs can feel overwhelming. Cornesrtone has implemented administrator learning options that definitely help.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance training requirements are ever changing and Cornerstone Learning has helped us ensure we meet regulatory requirements without skipping a beat.

  ### 21. Cornerstone OnDemand - A digitally proven learning solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr Leena P. | Manager - Projects, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

- Learning Objects creation is easy and detailed one.
- Edge Import is an excellent option for data migration. It reduces lot of efforts coordinating with GTS team as the data can be loaded via front end after formal validation using Edge Import
- Content Uploader - Advance content publishing tool
- Reporting 2.0 which has analytics report and can be merged with custom reports as well
- Compatible with 3rd party applications

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

- Custom reports are still in evolving stage, it did not have all the fields. Would be good if the team includes all the active fields (including custom fields) in custom report.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Cornerstone Learning Suite is one of the best Corporate Learning Suites available in the market. I highly recommend the users to use this suite along with CSOD's other modules. This will make the organization to have a centralized unique ERP suite and will easy to manage. CSOD application is scalable and highly adaptive.

The Content Uploader, Custom Reports, Learning Admin Console are excellent features you get addicted to.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Migrated all legacy applications to one single cloud based learning suite - CSOD fit in very well here, were able to migrate all sorts of data with the help of MDL templates and using Edge Import
- CSOD is a suite which has all modules for the corporate, hence centralized application is easy to maintain and more efficient

  ### 22. Cornerstone Learning is great and easy to use!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

As someone who never used or managed an LMS before, Cornerstone Learning was easy to get familiar with and is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

On the admin side, sometimes it is confusing to determine how to correctly create or assign items - there are lots of steps to get familiar with.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Consider how much you will want to customize the portal. For us, customization took the longest but once it was up and running it was not as much legwork.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have utilized Cornerstone Learning to assign a variety of required trainings for HR & Compliance to keep us up to date with legal requirements. We also use it as a voluntary learning portal and users have really enjoyed being able to learn and access e-learning at any time, especially while many of us are working remotely due to COVID-19.

  ### 29. A True Online Learning Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The best part about Cornerstone is that it has a modern interface that is easy to navigate. Whether our team members are requesting a class or our system admins are performing learning assignment duties everyone can accomplish their tasks efficiently. The additional CyberU courses allow our organization to retain our top talent by combining them with our instructor-led courses. When system admins are unsure how to perform a task in the system, the Success Center has videos, courses, and other resources to assist with troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I have not complaints about the suite itself.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Make sure all users who will touch the system are apart of the implementation. It makes the transition easier for everyone.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Cornerstone, we had an up-to-date LMS that allows us to use single sign-on and it integrates with our HRIS system. Before Cornerstone, our L& D team spent countless hours adding new team members or updating team member information in our previous LMS. We now have those hours back in the classroom with our team members or working on projects to enhance our business.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Thank you so much for your review! We love to hear this type of feedback from our clients. I am glad to hear that you're having a great experience with Cornerstone Learning and the CyberU content. If you're interested in learning about Cornerstone's client advocacy program, please email us at wecare@csod.com. Thank you for partnering with Cornerstone!

  ### 30. Great product, steep learning curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like the way the site is very easy to customize for your company with your own logo, custom colors and course photos. I also appreciate the variety of tools available to keep track and assign courses. The office hours are a helpful way to ask questions and figure out how to deal with glitches or how to implement a new program.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There is a steep learning curve to understanding and using the product especially if you have never been an LMS administrator before. While the office hours are helpful, if you have a bigger issue that they can't help with, you will have to open a case to have someone look at it. Often part of that is they will send you some complicated trouble-shooting directions to try before they will look at it. Sometimes that is helpful, but it can also mean hours of work troubleshooting before you get an answer and it can often take them days to reply and get back to you.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Take advantage of office hours and do the initial training in person if possible especially if you don't have prior experience with administering an LMS.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to encourage employee learning and also keep track of it with various reports. Assigning compliance training and keeping track of it has become much easier too! I hope we can expand into using some of the other Talent Management Suites in the future. Because of the additional training employees are able to do we are hoping to see an increase in employee engagement and productivity.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Hi Catherine, thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed and thoughtful review. Your insights are very valuable, especially for your HR peers who haven't been part of an LMS implementation. Your feedback has been passed to our Support team. It's good to hear how the platform is helping to deliver and track compliance training. Keep up the great work you are doing to encourage continuous learning & employee development!

I love the Learning Assignment tool. This tool allows you to assign training for your organization.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I struggle with the reporting tools. Sometimes this tool either gives too much information or not enough.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the notification e-mails to keep our team members ion track for training.

  ### 37. Solid Platform with Good Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The customer service/support is helpful and quick. There are also a lot of resources to enable you to find help yourself when you have a quick question or need some training.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The platform itself is solid, but parts of it are not intuitive and you really need to spend some time going through training to understand how to use the ore advanced features. The number of courses available off the shelf can be overwhelming.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cornerstone off the shelf courses to address broad training needs. We also use the platform to host internally developed courses. Using Cornerstone allows us to track training, automatically assign it to learners, and run robust reports about training progress/completion.

  ### 38. A good learning system with lots of integration points

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I don't like the pricing. It isn't cost friendly for our organization.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

The reason I would recommend this is because of the excellent admin features.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business usage for this was to track regulatory training in the hospitality sector for multiple employees.

  ### 39. Great product, great service.

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone has a highly customizable and engaging interface. Using functions such as the learner home allows for a Netflix like browsing experience.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Integrating with other software can be a disadvantage. Cornerstone is best utilized with all suites.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to track employees' completion, down to the time they completed it. Also, having a customizable interface allows you to match your LMS to your company brand and embed learning into the culture.

  ### 40. The best in the market!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Configuring this module is easy and I love how we can proxy in as Administrators to troubleshoot. The platform is progressive and it is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

We use Observation Checklists and it is tied to their Performance module. So, we are tied to the module even if we do not want to end up using it in the long run.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Such a great platform to automate all your Learning materials!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There's no real problem, the only thing is that you just need a very technical savvy Administrator as a FTE to work through everything.

The overall big benefit is that we have automated all our Learning onto one platform!

  ### 41. Cornerstone Learning is their best product offered.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone learning is the better of the products offered by cornerstone. It works seamlessly with Cornerstone Recruiting. Here at my organization, we utilize it as an LMS and also in conjunction with our onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I dislike the manual efforts that goes into assigning training. If the product offered an automated process for assigning training to new hires, it would be more efficient.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Cornerstone Learning is a great product and feeds effortlessly from Cornerstone Recruiting. In my opinion, Cornerstone is known for their learning platforms the most.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are streamlining our learning and onboarding process by utilizing this product in conjunction with Cornerstone Recruiting.

  ### 42. Great for Our Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

It is intuitive and gives users a space for learning that is seamless and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The backend systems are sometimes archaic and hard to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Make sure it is the right fit for your LMS. Think about internal and external use.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to use Cornerstone to host learning modules both internally and externally. This is a great benefit to have all learning in one place.

  ### 43. Cornerstone works depending on your needs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace F. | Sr Learning Operations Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like the simplicity of the system. Having things organized the way that they are makes things easier to find. As a student, the course catalog is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

As a program manager who works in Cornerstone every day the system is not very intuitive. It is not a system well suited for change, so heed this when deciding to use Cornerstone. In my division we change pricing, emails, content, fields all the time and fact is most of these changes must be done one by one. Meaning if you have 100 courses you must touch each of those 100 courses, which is very time-consuming. On another note it is not well suited for commerce. Pricing courses out is a painful process and cannot be done in bulk like other LMS systems.

If you are using this system for internal training and you do not expect to make changes to fields, pricing, emails, availabiliyt, etc this system will be what you need it to be.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Be aware the administrative needs required if you are considering this software. I feel as if our administrative tasks are greater than those if we had chosen a system better suited for our needs.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a system that allows us to easily provide training externally, albeit not the easiest to work with our company did not always have a flexible system that made it easy to sell trainings. We have realized how great it is to have a system that allows us to sell our trainings and increase revenue.

  ### 44. Great tool - very customizable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

This tool has evolved over the years and greatly delivers on our needs ... very customizable

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Tech issues we experience on occasion...

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Due to high level of customization, go into implementation with the end result in mind and design to that idea

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learner Home provides transparency into learning and is promoting everyday learning content for end users.

  ### 45. Excellent Choice for Your Company's Learning Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone features a robust offering of courses within the course catalog, customizable reporting features, multiple options for uploading courses you've developed, and the list goes on and on. Cornerstone's Support Central makes it less of a challenge to find assistance for common issues in its forums, too!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

One thing I dislike is the complicated way that dynamic learning assignments work for our company. What we need is for all new employees to automatically receive an "orientation" curriculum within the first 3 days; oftentimes, they don't receive the curriculum until Day 4 or even later.

I found a solution/workaround from the community forums in Support Central, but it's still not as seamless as I'd like for it to be. There doesn't seem to be a solution for this that I know of at this time. That's literally the ONLY thing I dislike.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Various divisions within our company are now able to track certifications, internal and external training, etc. We're able to maintain compliance in terms of safety training, etc. We can now grow and develop employees in areas that would've previously been outsourced (i.e. leadership development, high potential training, public speaking, etc.), making learning more accessible for employees company-wide through the course catalog offerings.

**Official Response from Lindsey Haines (Deane):**

> Thank you so much for leaving us a review! We love hearing from our clients. That's great that you've been able to use Cornerstone for certifications, compliance, and employee development. Your feedback about dynamic learning assignments has been passed on to our Product team. If you're interested in partnering with Cornerstone's client advocacy team, please email us at wecare@csod.com. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

I love that Cornerstone is always around to help and provide training to educate admins

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Navigation on some pages is not user friendly

  ### 48. Robust, Easy-to-Use LMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The ability to customize just about anything in the system.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The online help resources, while robust, are sometimes difficult to navigate and find what you are looking for quickly.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping accurate training records in a centralized location, report writing, creating a content library that is easy to access by all.

  ### 49. Conerstone Learning Module

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Regular updates and enhancement to system quarterly, user community is strong and helpful. Lots of options for customized look and feel.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Could have more proactive support rep-to-client outreach to ensure we are optimizing our investment, periodic check-ins. We are a small account, yet we have made a significant investment for our company, optimizing capabilities could help us influence additional modules from CSOD. VILT tool is not as helpful as we'd hoped.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dynamic assignments and new hire compliance training completions. Centralized learning assets for distributed employees across the globe.

  ### 50. Customer Feedback

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

It stores all our learning materials, classes and information in one place. Custom reporting allows us to easily track our learner's completion.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Most tools aren't user intuitive, there are way too many options on ways to do things. There are too many other sites like Success Center, Online Help, Support Central it's too much.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to pull reporting is fast and easy good for our record keeping. We also have the ability to manage our ILT's with our eLearning which we haven't been able to do before.
