  ### 2. CoreView - Great Tool for MSPs & CSPs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Coreview is an easy to use Microsoft 365 license and governance management tool. We use CoreView for managing licenses and governance for our MSP and CSP customers. Coreview provides us with key reports on license usage and governance that we

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

The amount of data can be overwhelming. Connecting Coreview to a client's environment can be cumbersome. The interface requires some additional navigation for report running and finding metrics.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coreview helps us report on our MSP / CSP Client environments and how they are utliizing their licenses in M365. CoreView also helps us with management of our clients' environments by reporting on governance settings.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're glad to hear that CoreView is helping you effectively manage licenses and governance for your MSP and CSP customers. We understand that dealing with a large amount of data can be overwhelming, and we are constantly working to improve the user interface and streamline the navigation for easier report running and metric finding.

  ### 3. Coreview Rating

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

The details in reporting for Microsoft usage is the best for me.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

There is data related to policies that has inaccuracy according to my customers

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility on detailed M365 usage & reports

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're glad to hear that you find our reporting for Microsoft usage helpful. We apologize for any inaccuracies in the data related to policies, please contact us with more information and we will work to address this issue. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

  ### 4. Time Savings! Great Management tool for a Hybrid Environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Coreview allows the management of most Hybrid & M365/Azure admin tasks from a single GUI and displays all user details, groups, licensing, devices, and exchange details on a single profile page instead of navigating between admin portals.

The granular permissions enable us to delegate tasks among several support staff levels through custom workflows and operator groups.

The reporting capabilities are expansive.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

There is a learning curve to navigating and familiarizing new users with the tool, as with anything new. Some initial training videos would benefit the introduction to the GUI and reporting functions.

We have encountered some minor glitches/bugs with the v2 UX, but the Coreview support staff has been very responsive and accommodating when any issues have been discovered.

Some stale workflow steps remain in the list for use.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple tasks requiring administrative permissions to complete were bottlenecking our admin staff. Implementing Coreview with custom operator roles and workflow permissions allows this work to be spread across the team, resulting in a much higher percentage of "first-call resolutions."

Lack of Automation. With Coreview, we have created custom automation workflows that integrate with ServiceNow to simplify processes and leave a much smaller margin for error.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with CoreView. We understand the importance of user training and are continuously working to enhance our onboarding materials. We're pleased to hear that our support team has been responsive and accommodating.

  ### 5. The CoreView product and team have been amazing to work with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

CoreView satisfies a need that can't be done natively within 365 itself - how to silo administration between operators. It's a complex issue, and CoreView makes it easy. Their ongoing support has been excellent - quick, patient, and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

There were a couple of bumps in the road during implementation. Instructions weren't clear during some steps, and it took time for the correct implementation personnel to be looped in. It was ultimately all ironed out. It was explained later that it was because they improved their processes/infrastructure, and I caught them right when they hadn't fully updated the instructions and implementation flow. It's understandable and seems like just bad timing.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our customers has purchased/merged with many companies worldwide and has brought them into their tenant. They wanted to allow IT staff local to each company to continue to manage their respective company's 365 objects, but no others for security and regulatory sake, but this type of granular management isn't possible in 365 natively. CoreView provides the solution for this.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're thrilled to hear that CoreView has been able to meet your needs and provide excellent ongoing support. We apologize for any bumps in the road during implementation and appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve our processes and infrastructure. We're glad to hear that CoreView is solving the complex issue of silo administration and benefiting your organization by providing granular management for 365 objects.

  ### 6. compartmentalise and delegate M365 administration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Coreview gives the subsidiaries of large groups autonomy in the administration of M365 subscriptions, while reducing risk.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

Price can sometimes be a barrier, as customers have already invested a lot in their Microsoft online subscriptions and it is sometimes difficult for them to obtain an additional budget.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coreview makes it very easy to delegate automation tasks to local entities by creating O365 sub-tenants. This allows head office administrators to delegate M365 administration tasks to local administrators.
This allows head office administrators to work on other projects (e.g. DLP, MFA implementation, mobile device management, etc.).

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> It's great to hear that CoreView has helped in delegating administration tasks and freeing up head office administrators to focus on other projects. We understand your concern about pricing and the challenge of obtaining additional budget. We are constantly working to provide value and flexibility in our pricing structure.

  ### 7. Great for MSP's!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris V. | Global Security Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

- Excellent visibility into user licensing - There is a neat feature that tells you if licensed users are utilizing the licensed elements, if not, you can reduce their licensing, saving spend.
- Custom actions on the mgmt. Module - Allows you to set up custom flows, for example, off-boarding.
- Segmentation into v-tenants (companies) and management scoping, which allows company admins to control their own userbase.
- Provides you the ability to set and forget, some work required for initial setup, but once that is complete, you can essentially leave it on autopilot.
- CSMs - They seem to really care. Suggestions are taken to heart, and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

- GUI can be hard to navigate at first, however in the v2 release, this is greatly simplified
- Managing licensing allotments was very clumsy in v1, and the licensing naming did not correspond to the licensing within O365, making it complicated to place orders.
- Creating custom reports can be challenging initially, and some training may be required.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Licensing tracking and utilization - Helps to control costs and plan for the future
- Segmentation of a single O365 tenant into multiple vtenants for our companies .

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're thrilled to hear that CoreView is helping you with licensing tracking and utilization, as well as segmentation of your O365 tenant. We understand the challenges with creating custom reports and navigating the GUI, and we're committed to making these processes more user-friendly. Our customer success team is always here to support you and address any concerns you may have.

  ### 8. Great tool for M365 Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Single view and management capabilities for both AAD and AD objects
The ability to create custom actions in addition to default management actions on AAD/AD objects
The ability to give non-admin users access to M365 admin tasks without elevating their rights on our AAD tenant
The ability to chat with a Support team that knows their stuff
Monthly deep-dive community meetings

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

Very slow action and minimal to no feedback on the items proposed in their UserVoice community, some that have been there for years.
Some UI quirks and bugs that we cannot seem to overcome
CoreView documentation portal could use some filling out.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to write custom scripts that hit both AD and AAD is a great help
The scheduled report feature lets us view needed information even if we don't log into the UI

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're thrilled to hear that CoreView is helping you with its single view and management capabilities, custom actions, and scheduled report feature. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the slow action on UserVoice items and the UI quirks. Your feedback is important to us, and we will work on addressing these issues to enhance your experience with CoreView.

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Possibility to manage different administrators for different MS tenants

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

nothing to do.... In my opinion the system it's good

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

give rights to some IT operators without give them Administrator righet to ofc365

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We are happy to hear that you find the system good and that it is solving the problem of giving rights to IT operators without granting them full Administrator rights to Office 365.

  ### 10. The best product when it comes to M365 management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohsine C. | Key account Manager / Customer Success Manager , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Coreview is an exceptional management tool for Microsoft 365. It offers a user-friendly interface and a range of impressive features, such as virtual tenant management, license tracking, and playbook creation. Coreview effectively fills the gap that Microsoft left in their native management portal. my customers are very happy using it

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

nothing , i lo ve everything about the product

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coreview primarily addresses the issue of license optimization by automatically detecting and managing unused licenses or features. It also utilizes playbooks to enhance software asset management. Additionally, its capability to handle virtual tenants enables improved chargeback processes.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're thrilled to hear that CoreView has been such a valuable tool for your Microsoft 365 management. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us!

  ### 11. Coreview

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

While I am limited to my access from superiors, coreview does allow me a lot of options to administer the Teams phone system.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

There is not much to dislike as they are always improving on CoreView. They also take in suggestions and try to apply it soon after.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to access the Teams phone system from main headquarters without limiting my access to the Teams phone system.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're glad to hear that you find CoreView helpful in administering the Teams phone system. Thank you for your feedback!

  ### 12. Teams Cleanup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Being able to generate a report that would take a single person over 15 hours now takes less than 10 clicks; every Friday the report is in my inbox automatically. We had over 400 teams channels that needed cleaning. This tool cleaned this up and set permissions to limit the access to create teams channels.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

Its so powerful that you can easily go down rabbit holes learning more and more about the product. I wouldn't say its a negative but it truly is POWERFUL

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreView is cleaning up our license count for our yearly true up. On top of this it is providing countless saved hours with reports and automations. It cleaned up our teams channels which had a huge number and now we have provisions and this is all clean.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with CoreView. We're glad to hear that it's been a powerful tool for your organization.

  ### 13. Very flexible product for O365 management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Femi I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

The workflow tool is really powerful to automate processes

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

I think more actions regarding Teams Voice are missing, and we cannot use them in workflows

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me the most useful items in CoreView are RBAC, Virtual tenants and workflows.
You can become more productive and have more security

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're glad to hear that you find CoreView's workflow tool powerful for automating processes. We appreciate your feedback about the missing actions regarding Teams Voice and using them in workflows. We will definitely take this into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 14. Fantastic MS 365/Azure reporting tool; fantastic License Management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Reporting, License Management and Customer Service are highly valuable to our organization. The ability to delegate license management with excellent compliance controls is a great feature. Rules for what licenses can be managed and how many can be managed are fantastic. This allows us to distribute license management roles directly to appropriate staff and not impose it all on IT Admins.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

The interface (new UI) can be counterintuitive, and inefficient (navigation-wise). Pivoted reports do not export as pivoted reports - just a data dump. Filtered reports don't report with filtered data; again just a full data dump.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

License management and provisioning; reporting on license allocations for budget planning; the tools are a significant productivity multiplier and reduces licensing above and beyond the cost of CoreView.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're glad to hear that CoreView is benefiting your organization by providing significant productivity gains and reducing licensing costs. Your feedback on the interface and reporting functionalities is valuable, and we will strive to make improvements in these areas.

  ### 15. Great Tool : Must have

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

What I like in Coreview is :
easy customization of each report
Virtual tenants
Workflow
support team and account manager very responsive.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

Imo, I prefer the old ui, but the new one is fine too

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coreview help us to manage subsidiaries in a easy scoped way.
Which is not possible by design in O365. moreover, the run tasks and the report are very easy especially in our case with a big tenant.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> We're happy to hear that CoreView is meeting your needs for managing subsidiaries and providing easy-to-use reports. We'll continue to work on improving the user interface based on customer feedback.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Teams integration. We are able to separate all of our departments and have Coreview assign a block of numbers to each department. Once a new user needs to be added, we automate it with the workflow and it will automatically assign the department to the user. If we offboard the user it opens it back up into that department with over. 3000 phone numbers this is a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

No downsides at the moment. We are still trying to harness the power of CoreView

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves many tasks that had to be manually done by our service team. We can now automate reports and automate the remediation for those automatically.

  ### 18. Manage Office365 in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giorgio T. | Global IT Security Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

The essential feature is the possibility to manage all Office 365 Workload in a single place, which gives IT administrators the ability to manage all workloads more efficiently.
Another thing I love is the ability to generate usage reports and save templates easily. Reports can also be generated by combining different Workloads.
It is possible to schedule reports and automatically fix misconfiguration.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

I have not found parts of the suite that I do not like.
The Suite is constantly evolving, and the Coreview team continually improves it.
The only thing that could be improved is the training.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first problem that was solved with the implementation of Coreview was related to the provisioning of users to Cloud services. Before Coreview it was run with a Powershell Script that was too difficult to maintain.
It is now easier to find incorrect configurations and take action automatically.
We have thousands of users, and it was impossible to manage all use cases with the options available in the Office 365 portal admin.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with CoreView. We're glad to hear that it has made managing Office 365 workloads more efficient for you and helped in solving provisioning and configuration issues.

  ### 19. A dedicated and user friendly tool to manage M365 environment !

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

The possibility to lead M365 activity around each workload of M365 perimeter including Sharepoint, Teams telephony.
The ability to build personal dashboards along functionnal & economical point of view.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

At the beginning, it could be a huge economical cost for any middle enterprise to purchase the product but using different examples feedback from customer will be the key to convince the top management.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regarding M365 licenses, CoreView has been able to find our different cost center per Region. With virtualization tenant, it's been more convenient to help our local IT to ensure a better quality of service with lower prices.

  ### 21. Remarkably powerful!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

One of the best things about CoreView is the ability to create custom actions and the integration with workflows. The ability to create custom actions opens the door to endless tasks and automation.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

I would not call it a downside, but if you quickly want to test a custom action, you must wait at least 24 hours for CoreView to approve it.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreView has been solving many of my problems in CoreView. The latest issue was the reporting in CoreView for users with licenses. The reports were not reported in real time. I submitted a trouble ticket, and they could fix it in a reasonable amount of time.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> It's great to hear that CoreView has been able to solve many of your problems, including the reporting issue. We're committed to providing timely and effective solutions for our users.

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Having the ability to create certain permissions for each of our operators and what they can see and tasks they can perform. We have lowered the number of tenant admins drastically since implementing CoreView. The number of reports out the box are great.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

No dislikes at the moment. A bit of a learning curve with the new UX but we do like the addition of Playbooks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Easy to use and isolate the users by primary domain. It lets you customize actions if something can not be done out of the box.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

Some of the playbooks can't be isolated from other v-tenants, which I would like to see and give operators access accordingly.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Our company use one M365 tenant to host 9 distincts subsidiaries. Prior to using Coreview, managing license usage between those was a nightmare, and RBAC was getting complicated. Coreview V-tenant solved all of this pretty quickly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joan G. | IT Application Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

Coreview shows me in real-time my license count, where they are assigned. Reports that tell me what accounts are disabled so I can remove the license, what licenses are underutilized.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

I rely on our technical team to help me navigate in creating reports because there are so many options and filters to choose from. Perhaps Coreview could provide a session to help the customer create their top five reports would be great! I also understand there are automated processes that can be implemented (such as removal of license after "x" days of inactivity), but I need assistance with creating those as well.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coreview provides an easy-to-read summary of the licenses we own without having to refer back to Microsoft Customer Price Sheets, purchase orders, etc.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback on CoreView! We're thrilled to hear that you find our tool to be powerful and that it provides you with a wealth of information in real-time. The ease of how Coreview makes reports and data that we require from our Microsoft tenant easy to access and attain. From V- tenants, License pool to MFA.

Coreview makes it easy.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

At this time we do not have much to say about Coreview that is bad. All Software will have some sort of limitation. It is how you make it work for you.

As we continue to use Coreview, I am sure there would be suggestions for improvement.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Separating our complex Microsoft tenant into V- tenants. We are a conglomerate of over 30 companies. So V- Tenants help with the separation. License pool management is a big part of our chargebacks. This allows our billing team to work efficiently.

**Reviewed by:** Dinesh S. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2022

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

The finest product currently on the market for managing Microsoft Office 365 tenants is probably CoreView. The most crucial feature is the ability to manage mailboxes, edit them, work permissions, assign licenses, etc.. almost everything necessary for administrators.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

A straightforward information base that we could consult at any time would be wonderful. The product is excellent overall.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an effective tool for role-based access control. It makes it simple for me to grant access or authorization. Moreover, monitoring and tracking licensure is simple. We can predict the purchase of licenses based on license usage, which actually helps the organization save a significant amount of money.

I really appreciate the way CoreView has been created. The portal is very intuitive that it's even needed a guide to use it. More than 10 administrator are using the CoreView portal and everybody is very happy about that. ### 50. Great product concept, still challenged with stability

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristine M. | Director Enterprise Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2020

**What do you like best about CoreView?**

The reporting is amazing. Allows management to pull reporting without having to both engineers. I also love the custom reporting feature. I can essentially pull all the data my powershell engineers can pull in less than a minute, where they would take days to give me the information. Data is available and quick. It has great ability to do bulk actions without having to powershell. It allows us to hire engineers that are newer to the industry. They can be given certain tasks without having to make them an admin in Office 365. It also allows us to segment our users so that the impact is much less when their is a mistake.

**What do you dislike about CoreView?**

The stability is still the biggest issue. At least once a month the "import fails" and if the user isn't paying attention, they could inadvertently give bad information to management/users/security/compliance. I would like to be able to upload a list of data and perform actions against it. The company itself is also problematic. Once you buy the product, their is no training on how to use the product. We have components that we purchased that we have never used. I would love to see training videos, product guides or anything that can assist with this aspect. We have had to go to our salesperson to train our new hires. We just can't seem to figure it out or really have the time to figure it out. They also make changes with minimal communication. It would be beneficial if they would talk to customers about the changes they are looking to see in the product. I still feel like this product could be even better with the right leadership and a bigger partnership with Microsoft.

**Recommendations to others considering CoreView:**

I don't know if I would get rid of the product but it would be a first on my chopping block. It seems more nice to have than required. If it were more stable and more friendly to use, I would highly recommend.

**What problems is CoreView solving and how is that benefiting you?**

W use it to distribute the office 365 roles to the lowest level. We have 100's of support technicians, this allows us to give them access to data without impacting tenant operations.

**Official Response from Emily Crouch:**

> Thank you for your feedback on CoreView! We're glad to hear that you find the reporting feature amazing and that it allows you to easily pull data without the need for engineers. We understand your concerns about stability and the occasional import failures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our team is continuously working to improve the stability of our product and minimize any potential issues.

Regarding your suggestions for training materials and better communication, we appreciate your input. We are actively working on providing more comprehensive training resources, including videos and product guides, to assist our users in maximizing the benefits of CoreView. We also understand the importance of effective communication and will strive to keep our customers informed about any changes or updates to the product.

Thank you for your recommendation and for sharing how CoreView is benefiting your organization by allowing you to distribute Office 365 roles efficiently. We value your feedback and will continue to work towards enhancing the stability and user-friendliness of our product. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
