## CoreSite Reviews
  ### 1. Discovering New Horizons with CoreSite

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreSite?**

I mostly use CoreSite to expand my current capabilities and stay on top of growing trends in the business analyst world by understanding what relevant programs and technologies are out there. CoreSite has given me first-hand experience with open cloud exchange, which I never really understood much about before. I value having all of the aspects of CoreSite's services at my disposal, so I guess the breadth of service is something I find valuable. Additionally, I remember going into an interview and being able to discuss a number of the site's aspects and how they have helped me stay up to date, which has been beneficial.

**What do you dislike about CoreSite?**

I sometimes have general usability issues with CoreSite, like scrolling around or getting lost in the bells and whistles of the program. I think a more simplified layout that grows over time with the user could address that. Also, I would love a more robust dashboard feature for looking at my user history and possible changes over time. I want the dashboard to be simple, yet in-depth enough to give me a one year, six months, three months, and one month view of what has been accessed or used, plus space for user-generated content. Honestly, I think the lack of standout features might be the largest weakness of the site right now.

**What problems is CoreSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreSite helps me stay updated with trends and enhances my understanding of open cloud exchange, which gave me firsthand experience. It equips me with discussion topics useful in interviews, showing how its aspects can benefit potential employers.

  ### 2. Reliable Hosting with Seamless Hybrid Cloud Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dakota F. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreSite?**

I find CoreSite really good for hosting servers, especially for hybrid cloud setups. They help solve infrastructure problems that can't be tackled with normal internet hosting or cloud alone. I appreciate their 99% power uptime, redundant cooling, multiple power feeds, backup generators, and 24/7 on-site engineers, which result in very little downtime. That was pretty good to experience. CoreSite is very reliable in terms of uptime and interconnection quality, which determines how well my infrastructure performs in the real world. I like their low-latency connectivity with little lag, packet loss, or jitter. The direct cloud on-ramps for AWS, Azure, and Google are also aspects I enjoy.

**What do you dislike about CoreSite?**

I find the contracts with CoreSite pretty rigid.

**What problems is CoreSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreSite helps solve infrastructure issues when normal internet hosting and cloud alone can't. It provides 99% power uptime, redundant cooling, and reliable connectivity with little downtime, ensuring high interconnection quality and low latency for hybrid cloud setups.

  ### 3. CoreSite Review from an IT Network / Infrastructure Administrator perspective

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreSite?**

From an infrastructure administrator’s perspective, the interconnection ecosystem is the standout strength. Having multiple carriers and direct cloud on-ramps in the same facility has simplified our hybrid architecture by enabling private, low-latency connectivity to cloud providers without having to rely on internet-based VPNs. Cross-connect provisioning through the portal is straightforward, and it has consistently met the committed SLAs.

**What do you dislike about CoreSite?**

Cross-connect and remote-hands costs can add up quickly if you rely on them often, so it’s worth budgeting for recurring interconnection fees from the start. The customer portal is functional, but real-time power and environmental monitoring at the cabinet level could be more granular, without having to purchase paid add-ons to get that detail.

**Recommendations to others considering CoreSite:**

Map out your interconnection needs before implementing or transitioning to CoreSite. Cross-connect fees are recurring costs that can add up quickly, so include them in your TCO from day one-not just the rack and power pricing. If your architecture is hybrid or multi-cloud, take full advantage of the native cloud on-ramps, since that’s where CoreSite tends to deliver the most value. It’s also worth confirming which specific market or facility best matches your latency requirements, because the carrier and cloud-provider mix can vary by data center. Overall, it’s a solid choice for enterprises that need dense interconnection alongside traditional colocation.

**What problems is CoreSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreSite hosts a portion of our production colocation environment and serves as our interconnection hub for hybrid cloud connectivity. It has removed the burden of building and maintaining facility-grade power and cooling redundancy on our own, and the direct cloud on-ramps have improved latency and reliability for our workloads compared with relying on public internet connectivity. Remote hands also lets us handle reboots, cable changes, and visual checks without having to dispatch staff to the site, which reduces response times and cuts travel costs.

  ### 4. Highly reliable data center with excellent multi-cloud connectivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreSite?**

The physical security and operational uptime are absolute top-tier. I rarely have to worry about power redundancies or cooling issues. Their customer portal is also incredibly intuitive for cross-connect provisioning, and the remote hands team on-site is fast and actually knows what they are doing when we need a physical drive swapped or a cable re-routed.

**What do you dislike about CoreSite?**

Their onboarding process and initial deployment paperwork can be a bit bureaucratic and slow. It takes a fair amount of back-and-forth just to get badges provisioned for new team members. Additionally, while the connectivity is excellent, their blended IP bandwidth pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to some regional providers.

**Recommendations to others considering CoreSite:**

Make sure you map out your cross-connect needs ahead of time to accurately estimate your total cost. Lean heavily on their Open Cloud Exchange if you are doing multi-cloud.

**What problems is CoreSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a hybrid cloud setup that didn't constantly drop connections or surprise us with massive egress fees. CoreSite gave us a reliable data center footprint with direct, low-latency connections to AWS and Azure. It has stabilized our hybrid infrastructure, drastically reduced our network latency, and made our monthly infrastructure spend a lot more predictable.

  ### 5. Unmatched Reliability with Outstanding Low Latency Connectivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2026

**What do you like best about CoreSite?**

I really like CoreSite's unmatched reliability with 99.99 percent uptime, and their expert remote support is top-notch. I appreciate the reliable, well-maintained infrastructure that offers strong redundancy and security, which is critical for us. CoreSite enables outstanding low latency cloud connectivity which is essential for our needs. Their Open Cloud Exchange and rich carrier system allow us to establish direct, low-latency connections to cloud services like AWS and Azure. This has led to measurable gains, such as improved business applications and a better end-user experience with fewer support tickets for slow internet. What really sets CoreSite apart for us is their tailored high-density infrastructure and support which meets our digital learning demands. They have a proprietary technician qualification program, methodical project management for deployments and migrations, and high-density interconnection capabilities. During a major redevelopment of our AI-enhanced genomics research platform, their team enabled seamless hybrid cloud bursting and maintained 99% uptime during peak semester loads, improving efficiency and allowing our IT staff to focus on innovation rather than maintenance. CoreSite's team provided invaluable remote hands and expert guidance during the implementation of our high-performance software stack, including NVIDIA GPU-accelerated environments, which minimized downtime and improved operational efficiency, research output, and student success metrics.

**What do you dislike about CoreSite?**

While CoreSite's services are among the best options on the market, I would like to see more flexible usage-based pricing options. More comparable to AWS.

**What problems is CoreSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CoreSite provides low latency and secure connectivity to AWS and Azure, improving our business applications and user experience. It cuts simulation processing times significantly, minimizes downtime, and boosts operational efficiency, allowing IT staff to focus on innovation.

  ### 6. Robust Infrastructure with Minor Availability Concerns
