"Powerful and flexible platform with slight learning curve"
5/5
What do you like best about CoreMedia?

CoreMedia provides a powerful and flexible digital experience platform with strong features like hybrid headless CMS, personalization, and seamless integrations, which work well for managing complex content and delivering localized, omnichannel experiences. The user-friendly tools for content creators are also a highlight, as they simplify workflows and reduce reliance on technical teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreMedia?

The downsides of CoreMedia is that its richness of features can make the platform feel complex and resource-intensive. The steep learning curve and need for ongoing technical expertise can slow down adoption, especially for smaller teams. In addition, the total cost of ownership can be high, which may limit its accessibility for organizations with simpler needs or tighter budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad you value CoreMedia’s flexibility, personalization and strong omnichannel capabilities. We understand that the platform’s depth can feel complex at first, so we’re continually improving usability and support to make onboarding smoother. "Solid system for content management, needs UX improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about CoreMedia?

Coremedia is a robust system for creating website content and modules. It ensures consistency across our diverse landing pages and regions. Its versioning and content preview features are invaluable for reviewing changes pre-publication. Furthermore, its seamless integration with systems like SFCC and Global Link facilitates streamlined data flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreMedia?

The interface initially lacks intuitiveness, requiring comprehensive onboarding for users to become autonomous and efficiently locate contributions. Publishing workflows can be slow, involving numerous clicks that could be streamlined. Additionally, new modules frequently entail extra costs on top of an already expensive license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from CoreMedia Marketing of CoreMedia

Thank you! We appreciate your input on the onboarding experience, publishing workflows and licensing considerations. These are important areas we continue to review and improve. It’s great to know CoreMedia gives you the flexibility to manage and publish content independently across regions and teams.

5/5
What do you like best about CoreMedia?

CoreMedia stands out as a fast, modular, and flexible platform that offers a clear and intuitive content visualization experience. Its powerful search capabilities and the ability to move content across the interface — similar to Windows File Explorer but without the risk of compromising editorial integrity — make it highly efficient for content management. The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are well-designed, and the drag-and-drop functionality allows users to seamlessly reposition content from any point to any other within the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoreMedia?

The extensive modularity can sometimes lead to increased complexity. For both front-end and back-end developers, the platform presents a steep learning curve that may require significant time and effort to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from CoreMedia Marketing of CoreMedia

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad to hear what you value about CoreMedia. We appreciate your note on the learning curve and continue to provide resources and improvements to make it easier for both developers and editors to get the most out of the platform.
